Johnny, a recommendation for your next cook is try to make some al pastor tacos with this machine. Idk if you have tried them or not, but it’s good eating. Loved the video 👍🏻
Great video! I just bought one of these Only Fire Automatic Kabobs Grills but could not find any UA-cam videos on it. This makes kabobs way easier now that you can turn them automatically! I was trying to figure out how the non handle skewers would turn without the roller assist. It’s battery operated and that may be perfectly fine, since Kabobs cooks quicker, but I wonder if you couldn’t add a AC powered motor to it ( but I do not think you need it for kabobs unless you are doing them daily). Thanks again.
Hello Bo. This was the third time I used it and it is still on the first set of batteries. I think maybe in the future I will buy some rechargable batteries to go in it.
@@Viewtoagrill Good idea on rechargeable batteries. Plus I would commenting on you “slightly” over cooking your kabobs… that happens a lot cause the meat peace’s are smaller, so good for your for using a temper checker… had you not used that you’d gone over much more. In the past I always use to think cook kabobs rare so they would cook “correctly”
Hey Johnny learning a lot from your videos! Quick question what do you rest your charcoal chimney on when starting it at 5:52? Is it something I can buy online?
All the skewer rods should have the handle with the collars, the other ones are just flopping around and would probably wear out. Also there web site shows the collars on the inside. FYI
Hello Ross, I have used this skewer set about 8 or 10 times since this video and it is holding up well. I am not sure why you would think the skewers without the collars would ‘flop around’ because they don’t. That does remind me though, if you overload them they do sag in the middle. I still do enjoy this skewer set and it still works as well as it did in the video.
@@Viewtoagrill I just ordered the Only Fire stainless rotisserie. I like rotisserie chicken. Next up the slow and sear then the kabob attachment. Again, thanks for the video.
Do you think if I were to use less skewers could I use bigger cuts I want to do like Brazilian picanha and ribeye or figure out how to attach a rotisserie basket.
Hi mate i have purchased a SnS kettle and just wondering if you know if any of the weber cover fit it as after shipping and conversion rates the SnS cover is $180 NZD for me.
Hello Doug. The surface I cook on is flat, so I believe as long as you are cooking on a flat surface you won’t have an issue with the skewers sliding out as long as they are seated correctly in the gear slot holes. Since I have had this I have used it several times without any issues of the skewers coming out.
That would be cool to have one of those. Might have to put that on my Christmas list.
Hello Robert. Heck yeah!
Thanks Johnny! I love all your videos!!! Thank you
Hello John. Thanks for watching!
This is something I would use. I make kebabs all the time. I usually use bamboo skewers
Hello La Mai. Thank you for watching.
A very interesting kit i would like to get my hands on. Great recipe too.
Thanks Stefan.
Thank you. I just ordered the kit on Amazon and it will be delivered on the 24 of October. I’m sure looking forward to give it a test.
Looks great and such a fun way to cook
Hey Rusty. Yeah, this was fun. I will definitely use this in the future.

I actually have one of those vertical skewer pans that I use for al pastor. No video on it though.

excellent attachment! nice cook!
Thanks Louis.
Hey Johnny - your link to the OnlyFire Shish Kabob set is broken. Need to separate the "Crave" text out of the link. Thought you would like to know.
Thanks Stu. I fixed it.
Great cook ,just recently received the only fire rotisserie did a boneless leg of lamb. It turned out great. Thanks for your great videos 👍
Hey John that sounds awesome take care.
Hey Johnny learning a lot from your videos! Quick question what do you rest your charcoal chimney on when starting it at 5:52? Is it something I can buy online?
That is a chimney starter stand that my dad made for me.
Nice never seen the kabob unit from them I do have their rotisserie unit for my weber wonder why they only sent 4 or was it 3 collets. Thanks Johnny
There were 3. I am not sure either. The skewers with the collets are a little bit wider and thicker than the skewers with loops.
That's a pretty sweet attachment Johnny! Now I'll have to order me one!😁👍
Its a fun attachment for sure.

Hello Howard. Thanks!
That machine is on my list after I get a rotisserie.
Hey John. It’s a lot of fun for sure.

Sounds like you are going to be having a lot of fun watching spinning meat!

Nice looking piece of kit! My wife says we need to try this soon - Thx Johnny
It worked out well. Lots of fun.

Yes you can. There is a slightly thicker skewer in there you can use for that… just skip a hole in your setup.
All those kebabs look amazing. Cheers, Johnny! 👍👍✌️
Thanks Dwayne!
nice
Thanks

I bet the cover for the performer with the folding table would fit... not sure but it seems like it.

What holds the skewers (without the handles) from falling out?
