I love the aesthetics of the game but the endings feel kind of cheap and inconsequential Not idea what happens to the invincible or if you keep the flies or if your teammates recover with the evidence found in the medbay. Would have like some closure
Thank you for this comment. After initially beating the game i went back to the last check point to try a for a different ending. Didn't matter though, they all felt "empty " and inconsequential, perfect word for it. Loved the journey, the ending not all really.
I think the flies' magnetic field causes the robot to malfunction and it makes it crash, because the robot is in the wreckage when the lander crashes, but it's not in the lander when you call it at the end of the game.
.. worst ending was waiting for rohitra n die inside the hopper .. I also had option to wait ..but after few seconds i thought he won't come so just closed n fly away . I was shocked that game ended.. without any summary etc . .. 😂i played many ending thinking i made mistake but actually these are ending.
Saved all living members of my crew (gave oxygen tank to dude in the City). Convinced Ratha not to nuke the cloud, left the diery with him, left the planet through landing pad on the hopper. I guess its best ending?
Lem deserves more game adaptations. Most works probably would not do it for most players, since those are dialogue oriented stories. But 'The Test' could be a adapted to a mix of detective and horror story, perhaps even with some action since there was a suggestion there were more androids on the ship and although Pirx wins, he might have lost after all. 'Eden' would also make a great mixture of exploration, detective and horror game.
What I don’t understand are how some of the ending tie into the book. There’s never a mention of Yasna or Rohytra especially when there are a handful of endings where they wait for the Invincible
Some endings must not be canon. Only 1 ending would be canon since there would only we one actual reality when the book begins. Most likely, the endings where she escapes the planet match with canon the most.
Yes, exactly, this is evidence that an inorganically evolved complex system can develop collective consciousness. Similar to how each of our cells are not sentient on their own, the "flies" can become a single conscious entity together. By the way, this is how the book ended as well
Endings are quite cheap, a bit brutal and weird. But overall it's the general pace that's clunky, running in some empty space for long times is not very funny, gameplay is boring in most part...The story was cool but lack some depth and interest.@@Fragenzeichenplatte

What an excellent game. Makes me want to replay Firewatch.
why? the same?!
Firewatch was different. Not since MYST have I played such a game.

I think thats the point. I know it sucks, but you're not really meant to get closure. Yasna doesnt
Read the book it takes place right after ;)
yeah the ending i kinda lacking
If you want to know what happened to The Invicible, just read the book :)
I didn't know you can get lander if you choose go to base afer city. I wonder how flies managed to damage it while landing. Or it's just malfunction.

11? I just completed seconds ago and kept the flies, and he already started the attack. ELEVEN? Jeez.

That last ending is actually a trophy/achievement, so it feels good to get since it's a bit obscure to accomplish
@@MacForaday Oh really! Trophy.. I guess I missed that perfect ending. Thanks for that man

I strongly agree.
thanks

What is the meaning of the face? Were Yasna and Novik wrong and this entity is actually conscious?

Yasna knew.
This game was sooo weird.... could have been way better, I felt disapointed.... Thanks for bringing all of the endings!
What was disappointing?

Maybe this type of game isn't for you. That doesn't mean the game is weird, it's just you.
@@Fragenzeichenplatte ok cool

Loved the game but all of the endings are empty and without any meaningful way to finish the story.
Thanks a lot for this !! ... not the best game ive played...
Nope ,not 7 but 5 . You shows 2 who are not endings ! False information !
cheap version of outer wild, boring gameplay, flat story and empty endings
"Flat story" depends on your sensibilities
Somehow i never like any endings of this game... Anyway, thanks for your effort to show all endings 🤌🏻
This game is essentially a prequel of the book, so they are a bit limited on what they can do, without messing up the canon of the original work.
What ending you like to see?
@@MacForaday Oh so its not the book content?
Correct, the book is about the crew of the Invincible, not before they arrived
