My brother and I each had new Tiger Cubs, back in the day, in Southern California. Mine was a 1958. Just a regular street model. Great fun. I would remove the muffler, hide it in the bushes and go off road riding with mine. Wish I had another one.
Beautiful bike, like the practical upgrades. Nice to see its used and not afraid to get dings. Great reminder you dont need a big bore or high speed to get a big smile.
I cant believe it , this was my dream bike when I was a teenager over 40 years ago , only ever seen pictures of one as a 15 year old and its nicer than I envisaged , beautiful bike isn't it :) ( i'd completely forgot about it until this popped up on my feed ) , and bultaco , that's a name I haven't heard since the 70's or 80's
These and the little Bantams were great little trials bikes in there day and even now it's a route into classic bikes that is affordable for the not so well paid working class For me the tiger cubs got a nicer sound but the weight loss of the 2 stroke Bantam did make them a tad more compliant
Awesome this bike and rider are absolutely legit and keeping vintage bikes alive. she Loves it, rides the wheels off it, races it, works on it and not just using it for latte runs on sunday morning. Love it one of the best videos so far, cheers BSMC
What a great bike! I owned a '59 Greeves Scottish a long while back. And although it had a 2 stroke Villiers 250, it had a shed load of torque and was great to ride, with it's cantilever front forks.
Yes! Not actually fully original, but totally authentic. And any gal who can lift her bike up with one hand like that can buy me a pint any day. Well done. Awesome bike. Great sound. Well risen. Very impressed. Ride safe.
As kids we loved this, even spent time with Malcomb Smith, wonder trials rider (I couldn't believe how excited my ex was when she saw Malcomb! Haha Tim enjoy your bike, be Safe!
In my late teens I bought a 1964 trial cub in pretty poor condition. Spent a year in me ma's shed renovating it, even in freezing cold weather. Replaced most of the bearings, got a re-bore and oversized piston, new big / small ends etc After about 2k miles it threw a pushrod and was off the road for a while. Another semi-engine build and 3k miles later had a barrel / piston seizure!!! So yet another engine semi-strip down. I was back in college and riding my crappy Honda CG125 throughout that year. I then moved into a flat and went to Uni. The Honda just wore itself out whilst the Cub sat in the shed going rusty. I ended up selling it as a project and engine in basket for £75 which I still regret. Literally everywhere I went on that bike people would stop me and ask me about it. After a party one night and a few too many Vodkas the police took more interest in the bike than in my rather odd behaviour and told me to get home before it went dark!!! At times I felt like I was riding from the past into the future. Funny how a machine can have a real character. Often wondered what it would be worth now, or even where it is? I can't even remember the number plate!
A friend of mine bought one in a basket for $15.00 in 1968. His parents wouldn't let him have a bike so he brought it to my house and we worked on it in my basement. That summer I went to California to study Art, and live with my Unkle. I got a call from him long distance....he had got it running, he put the receiver down to the exhaust, and gave it a whack. Pure music!
What a pretty bike. I had an ajs 350 trials back in the 70's. Was just a cheap old bike in those days but soooo much character. Never took it off road.... A bit heavy... This is unit construction, engine and gearbox in one shell? My old bsa 350 had separate gearbox. That extra chain and slippage was a pain...
Niiiiiice. Love the Tiger CUB sticker! I believe Joey Dunlop's first racer was a Cub? Don't think it was a Trials, 'though! Proper bike doing what it should.
I loved trials way back my first was a Yamaha TY250A then a few after that, loved the sport, had a mint TL 250 Honda which had never been trialled, a couple of RL Suzukis came and went, then the Honda got swapped for a 380 SWM one of only two in New Zealand, then my last was a great clubman bike Ital jet again the only one brought to NZ great video, I did ride a Sammy Miller replica like GOV 132 in one trial now that was so different. I have never ridden the later bikes like the mono shock Yammahas or any of the strage named machines we see today to be honest the lightest two bikes I rode belonging to friends was a TY175 Yamaha and a Honda TL 125 both were amazing light weight bikes compared to what I had ridden
My second trials bike after a two fifty Greeves back in the early sixties , better suspension but the engine was short of both power and torque, forever changing cams dependent on types of trial.
What year Cub is that based on? I've always thought the Tiger Cub had one of the most esthetically pleasing engines ever - they were quite popular in the late "50s when I first started riding. So many mods were in vogue to enhance their performance and especially their reliability.
I had a '58 with the bikini rear enclosures. I blew around six big ends (I was seventeen!) during my ownership, sheared the crank pin flush to the flywheel half one time, still ran! Most memorable was big end failure in France, a long way from home !
Lovely bike, I too have a 67 mountain cub and a 1960 T20S scrambler, good to see a youngster riding a cub and I might add kicking the bike over with boots on, not running shoes!
Std snail cam adjusters for trials bikes. Sammy Miller parts bought out by Feked Parts will sell them. As will In Motion trials parts prolly. Stock irem on trials bikes.
that reminds me of my silver 72 Yamaha 360 RT2 that's what I call bike love it how come we cant go and buy a new version of this today in 2019 there is a market out there.
Nice tidy little bike always been a looker the cub and terrier.but think they over priced compared to the 2 strokes of the same era like greeves normans ect
Raced a cub in local scrambles, south Florida back in ‘60’s…loved this bike.
That's not the original front wheel
Your dad must be very proud to have a daughter like you!

my favorite bike of all time!
Lovely, was my first bike when I was 17, I'm now 66 and still ride, I wish I had another Tiger Cub
this one is beautiful! and it takes a thrashing! bloody brilliant!
Beautiful bike, like the practical upgrades. Nice to see its used and not afraid to get dings. Great reminder you dont need a big bore or high speed to get a big smile.
Love the simplicity... reminds me of my first bike, a Bantam 175, which I rode off road.
And she actually rides the hell out of it, I dig it, it’s not just a bar hopper
She is an amazing spirit. Lovely bike lovely lady. VINTAGE!
What a fantastic trials machine!
Beautiful old bike it's great to see these old stump crawlers still being ridden thanks for sharing.
I used to trial one of these a long while back, great little bike.
Even at 200 ccs, the Tiger Cub always sounded like a 'real' motorbike. This trials version is a beautiful example. Huge props.
That is a charming little bike.

i am soooo envious of the bloke you pick for a riding buddy! All the best
light, quiet, bruised and one kick. awesome!
Nice bike! Always wanted one of those back in the 60s. Thanks and good luck in the pre 65 Trails. Les
Really cool to see you keeping the old stuff alive. Brilliant.
What a sweet little bike & still used for it's intended purpose.
Awesome this bike and rider are absolutely legit and keeping vintage bikes alive. she Loves it, rides the wheels off it, races it, works on it and not just using it for latte runs on sunday morning. Love it one of the best videos so far, cheers BSMC

What a Bike! Thanks for sharing 👍
Very cool bike and a very cool lady. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
So now you done it! You have re-ignited me restoring my 1969 Triumph TR25w. Wiring problems, but complete.
My first bike! Enjoy it.
Reading this 3years later, did you finish your bike ?
@@anthonycarty9433 Sadly no, my wife's health problems have taken me out of a lot of motorcycle activities. Many unfinished projects!
@@teamground0229 Sorry to hear that. Hope the new year brings an improvement to her health . Best wishes .
That's the coolest bike I've seen in a long time. Well done.
Nice fun trials bike. She clearly enjoys it.
What a beautiful old Triumph. It is great to see it still running strong.
That is something you don't see every day. Very cool 👍😎
Very nice. I haven't seen a cub for years.
What a beautiful bike. Always wanted a Cub. Either trials or “C” model for trails. Just can’t find em here in the USA.
Yes! Not actually fully original, but totally authentic. And any gal who can lift her bike up with one hand like that can buy me a pint any day.

Oh man! What a beauty! Congrats Emily :-)

Awesome looking Bike, bet it's great fun as well.
Love the bike.❤ Well done.
Lots of Cubs in AHRMA Trials in the ‘90s when I was active.
Excellent modified, where have you replaced the oil tank and where have you divert the oil circulation?
Good video Emily, Great bike

From what I know the Cub was one of Triumphs first unit bikes? 1955/1956? Could be wrong.
Niiiiiice. Love the Tiger CUB sticker! I believe Joey Dunlop's first racer was a Cub? Don't think it was a Trials, 'though! Proper bike doing what it should.
Looks like a blast to ride!
Very cool bike and girl.
Cubs were always nice.
I’ve always had a hardon for triumph, beautiful bike.
That could end in tears!
It looks more like a 100cc, quite impressive.

I am in love, and the bike is cool also
I beg to differ, the gearlever is on the correct side....
Nice bike. Good lass.
At Tulsa Triumph we had dibs on TRIALS tires. Take offs from England. Just 2 layers! Wad em up, stick em in a pocket.ran them half flat.!😎😁🎶

beautiful machine and a cool lady
I had a cub many years ago, cost me 10 shillings, never ran properly
and never discovered why!
me too, found the carb was super heating, got a plastic carb spacer.
i would love to go enduro with that baby 😭
Brilliant ! Does anyone know about teh swing-arm adjusters ??
Std snail cam adjusters for trials bikes. Sammy Miller parts bought out by Feked Parts will sell them. As will In Motion trials parts prolly. Stock irem on trials bikes.
365, I thought the Tiger Cub was 200cc? Roy Peplo rode one very successfully.
I believe she said "pre '65" not 365
Were these things stock back then? Or modified and adapted as in the case of Triton bikes. Beautiful machine anyway
Adapted for the sport
@@emilypage9237 Thank you, I also congratulate for your passion and riding
Kick ass.
This is my dream bike
So badass!
Groovy machine...
