Rush is my all-time favourite mode. I will look forward too doc playing Rush on stream
Breakthrough is the new rush. But rush should be good on the bf3 and bfbc2 maps on portal
The player count and potentially campy gameplay has me kind of worried to be honest. I want to see how a round of this game mode plays, will the player count be enough for these maps? Will people just camp the hell out of the cap zones leading to a standoff situation for whoever will make the first move?

why does doc want this game to be like warzone with just one map this is not a battle royale there’s nothing wrong with them having more maps this is battlefield not COD also they need to fix the snipers their so weak they all take 2 shots even for the head it should be a 1 shot
Also imagine how boring the game play would be if it was just a huge map. Look at apex legends when world's edge first came out. You would just be running around for 10 mins and find no one then you realise your already in the top 5 sqauds left
I think it's more so that with BRs or similar single-life modes, the maps are usually more tailor made for those kinds of experiences. Also, unless i'm mistaken, i'm pretty sure the snipers do 1 shot hs kills don't they? 1 shot hs and 2 shots to the body are how snipers usually work in BF.

Its not free to play, out of all your thoughts and concerns you didn't mention that. If BF wants longevity, its gonna have to offer a free to play mode. Just like its competitors

Battlefield will be just fine. Different player plays battlefield vs cod. Battlefield is built on the squad system. Most successful players operate and dominate in good squads
@@killamindedmusic4220 yes, it will be “fine”, but if there’s no BR product they’re missing out on participation in the largest shooter genre game mode at the moment of the last decade - possibly the most popular segment ever. And their sales/longevity will be diminished. BF games are always popular on PC and stay relatively longterm - strong fanbase. But with this game it really looks like they have the fundamentals in place to create the best BR experience on the market if they just do it. And it would be a shame if they didn’t.
But yeah - the game will be “fine”. It just wont thrive.

“Narrative” in a game that’s designed to be played an infinite amount times and in rapid succession is really stupid and a waste of developer time. Focus on gameplay. Not narrative.
BR this BR that, honestly doc get a new tune, not every game needs a br just to appeal to the 7 year olds that cant watch anything else, you are entertaining you will stay relevent you dont need a staple br that your entire content revolves around just because children cant keep their attention

No doubt in my mind, likely drop as plate population stagnates or starts to decrease. Release it free to play and try to entice people to pick up the launch game.
Halo and Battlefield had hype……until the actual gameplay came out. I love how all these streamers are slowly realizing that Wazrone is going to be the best game out for a long time lol
Honestly, no matter how much the internet screams about it, the new map for Warzone will drop and there’s no doubt in my mind it will continue to be the top shooter. At a fundamental level, the gunplay in MW2019/Warzone is just the best there still is.
So far I’ve seen more good than bad for both early access versions of the game. You both are saying this MW game is the best and it’s been out since what? 2019? And then you guys are going on as if these two games have no chance when they haven’t even been released yet? 😂 they aren’t RELEASED yet, wait for the game to be finished then your opinion might be valid
@@adamdevine2462 dude it doesn’t matter at all how long ago MW19 was released because Warzone is ongoing and has the exact same gunplay mechanics. Ive played a fair amount of Halo and BF2042, one does not fundamentally do anything new or fresh and the other has basically sacrificed its core identity trying to chase Warzone. I don’t doubt for a second that Warzone will continue to be the top shooter.
Halos hype is Still there, Halos flight had more watchers than Warzone on Twitch consistently
@@CRISNCHIPS12398 it very much does matter because MW19 is a fully finished game and they’ve had years to improve and fix issues, Halo and Bf2042 aren’t even finished yet so it’s a bit silly putting in a final word about it as if the beta is all they had to offer. Wait for the full game and then if you feel the same fair enough.

Lame 36 players and bots. So stupid bf doesn’t need ai bots, they have a big enough fanbase
I really like his input and knowledge, but he's just too loud for me. I don't watch his streams but I always look forward to his opinion. Not like I'm a fan of BR games but the guy knows his FPSs.
Doc was literally a map designer for CoD advanced warfare if I recall correctly which is why I take his game design opinions way more seriously than just some run of the mill UA-cam content creator.
