5:05 I think that's a great fix they have done ...especially when your character has a gas mask on in the first place ;) but to your point I don't see it a being a problem because if you dip in and out of the gas you are at a disadvantage anyway by loosing health vs the person within the circle
The people in zone have better position so that should have an advantage over someone riding the gas

He missed the biggest change, you can't buy the loadout before the first free one drops, so all players will be playing with ground loot for at least 9 mins.

Since there is Hardly any flat ground its gonna be hard to slide cancel and aim. Movement will change drastically. Too many hills for camping snipers. The new meta operator skin color, green bye bye rose. By the way I know doc is down playing it but deep inside he's excited

It’s pretty simple. Don’t go to the damn cliff if there’s no way up. Can’t jus mantle 100’ cliffs and just scale it like it’s nothing. Don’t start complaining already. They’ve done everything everyone wanted
The map looks smaller due to the beach/water line.

COD did copy PUBG, what I can get over is that these developers can't get creative. Sanchok and the other map from the USSR had array also. Why don't they build a map in another country? The Mexico map in PUBG was awesome because it had islands, it was enormous and it had like 7 POI.

Only if you liked the trashy, war-torn, mostly flat with a horrible sun angle in anything that is vertical, design to it lol. no one is gonna miss Verdansk, everyone wants something new and fresh and fun, its been a "good," but very long 2 years on that map. I've played the hell out of Verdansk, and while it might be nice to come back to it now and then, I'm kinda done with it. I literally know the entire map forwards and backwards by now, there's nothing new or exciting about it anymore.
Well me personally, im ready for something new. As im sure is the case with alot of people. BUT because alot of people arent going to be familiar with the new map, you will naturally have complaints and people saying "This map sucks" or "i much rather verdansk". Because they're not use to a new map. it will take time to adjust. Then again, ive been wrong before. But people complain alot too so.

The sunlight is a mess , all of your statements I agree spot on. I meant “missing verdansk” in terms of keeping us busy during quarantine, esp season 1. Other than that I’ve been wanting a new map for the longest as well.

The gas mask animation is the stupidest mechanic in the game.
Jump from a roof but the gas just touches your ass as your jumping, gas mask animation goes off and you cant pull your shoot.
Trying to shoot at people while the mask just keeps sliding on and off and on and off is an absolute idiotic mechanic.
The fact that doc doesn't hate this is beyond me.

everyone is going to be so upset when it comes out because it’s going to be MW and CW for verdanks only and vanguard only for caldera pacific, everyone is going to be so pissed that we can’t use all weapons for pacific map anymore, only vanguard weapons 😂🤣😂
That's not even true though. That is a separate game mode.
Verdansk is gone. Pacific is open to all guns and operators. There is a separate game mode for vanguard weapons and operators only. Both use the caldera map.

I would rather it be smaller to have more action. That's the only way you get bettet, gun fight after another one. That way it could reduce the rat ratio.
