    What an amazing guy Sagar is. Enjoyed his coverage of the WC. Even though he was clearly rooting for Gukesh the commentary never felt tried to put down Ding. Quite to the contrary, they praised Dings play when he demolished Gukesh and gave Ding credit for his tenacious and brilliant defense when Gukesh was pushing for a win.
    But what made me select chessbaaeindia for the WC broadcast was the awesome level of energy and excitement their channel had.

      But he is crazy. Like hes actually completely paranoid and uninformed on modern chess and society.
      No one is descrediting his prior achievements. No one has suggested he cant play chess, or wasnt a world champion, or that we should take away his accomplishments.
      Youre framing youself as being against a dialogue that isnt happening.

      @MrSupernova111 Claiming dozens of GMs are cheating, with no prior history of cheating and no proof is also not dialogue. Yet Kramnik does it regardless.
      And unlike calling him crazy, cheating accusations have actual financial consequences.

    This is complete BS, how the F players would know that the mobiles are complete harmless? chess players do not know if the mobile phone is malicious or not, the fact is that when t player do see the mobile phone they get suspicious and are distracted, as Magnus has complained in previous tournament?
    How is that FIDE goes nuclear for some jeans but goes completly laize faire and gives priviledges to these guys to introduce mobile phones in the room?. The main concern of FIDE should be the peace of mind of the players, not to accomodate some media people because they cannot get proper equipment.
    Wrong from India chess base for introducing mobile phones in the game area and adding ansiety to the players, and wrong from FIDE for not puting the confort and peace of mind of the players first.

    • @BarnaliSarkar-bi4tl
      @BarnaliSarkar-bi4tl 18 днів тому +19

      But Chessbase India actually caters to a lot of audience, by steaming the games live specially in such an important event like the Olympiad . As Sagar shah mentioned , there were not even the basic requirements available to record via cameras. And if fide which actually governs the tournament , approves of it then it can't be blamed on sagar as he just plays the role of a medium .
      The jeans situation is just comical . Fide at this point is just an underwhelming as well as an unreasonably assertive organisation.

    • @sdaiwepm
      @sdaiwepm 17 днів тому +21

      Did you watch the video? Not everyone is a cheater - if you ask for permission, make your case, and do things in the open, often you can get permission. As for "peace of mind," I don't think that's been Kramnik's main contribution to chess this year!

      stop being a troll and get a life instead! And if "peace of mind" was a thing, then all chess matches would be played in sound proof rooms with blacked out curtains! not with media, audience and bloody headphones blasting music!
