Agree with you on Me and Tasty -- underrated gem with delicious beautiful food! Mr. Holmes is delicious, but I'm not a fan of waiting in line and then being disappointed. Tartine is an SF classic. Haven't gotten a chance to try Le Marais and Media Noche, but will definitely check them out now!
Pre-covid, I would also recommend Souvla, El Farolito, b patisserie, and Thoroughbread Bakery on Market (am not sure if all the places are still open nowadays). Thanks for all the recs, Wendy!
