LP announcement made me discover this phenomenal gem of a band. Absolutely in love, its even more of my style than LP itself, so i actually hope the announcement doesnt mean that Dead Sara is now disbanded - i would want to hear new tracks from them in the future.
Year after year I get reminded of that night I heard Weatherman for the first time. That was the night I actually found my favourite band.
No one else more dedicated, than the weather man. 😉
I remember the first time I heard it. I went to see Van Halen in LV at the MGM and got food poisoning from their cafe.
I left the concert early, went to my room, threw up, packed and made the midnight run back to Cali.
On the 15 fey heading home I heard Weatherman and have been hooked ever since

When I started Linkin Park live yesterday, I was really disappointed at first.... but man within an hour my opinion changed, and my heart accepted this is the only good and true possible
best future for LP. She has something which could bring a good change for the future of Linkin Park.
I just hope whole crew stays strong and so badly looking forward to more.

Everybody's saying that bands like Greta van Fleet are the ones that are saving rock music nowadays... Although I love those bands, Dead Sara are the ones that truly deserve that title: since the first time I listened to these guys with my brother I thought: "My God, there we got the best band of the last 20 years". All the love to Siouxie, Emily and the rest of the band. Hope you guys get all the success and happiness that you and your music deserve!

Julia Costa As great as Dead Sara is, they alone cannot elevate rock or themselves to great heights. That would require the combination support of us and Atlantic Records. With competing genres such as pop and hip-hop, it will be difficult but possible. As long as we continously support Dead Sara and Atlantic Records handles them correctly, Atlantic Records will notice the revenue from Dead Sara yielding more success; but to reach the same levels of AC/DC or Metallica, is a reach.

I was talking about the size of the potential this band has. We need bands like that these days, but I can not fail to mention the fact that it's less hard rock than it was before, yet the band is still incredible and it's what the world needs

It’s a solid well produced song that has a retro 80’s feel. This group can do anything well. I hope they don’t stay in this sound too long even though it has probably a poppy appeal that will resonate with a wider audience. Getting to hear them live at The Masquerade in Atlanta Sept 14.
At first this was my fav female vocals rock band. Now it’s one of my Fav Bands without qualification.
It might be more poppy but it’s still not mainstream pop.

I don't know why so many commentaries about how the song is more pop than others... The entire EP are great as the previosly albums (Did you at least listen to the whole EP?). Let them play as they want! They are conquering a bigger audience and it's fantastic to see how they are growning.

There is just no END to the talent in her...I am not a big pop fan and she even attracts my ear with that. But for the love of GOD stay true to yourself and rock. I don't want to see the weatherman snowed under by the pop/hip hop music industry norms that are SO tiresome.

Well, this is sort of an A-ha Take On Me moment. So glad that I got to experience the rockin' Dead Sara. A great live band with that fabulous album (with "Weatherman" on it). If I'd stumbled across this song/video as my introduction to the band, I'd have passed them by.
