Very informative lesson. Defending your face is important. Most untrained people only head hunt in fights. 💯

That covering up your face technique you demonstrated at around the 6:30 mark is used by many of the top boxers. Look at Ali vs Foreman and even some of Mayweathers fights. This is another great video. Thank you professor and Kenny. You’re positively impacting the lives of many.

  • @jamesallen6309

This guy is very good. I have gone through heaps self defence and fighting videos and have basically boiled my viewing down to the following exponents, both dead and alive: Lee Morrison ( a vicious speed merchant) Carl Cestari ( Stupendous speed) Kelly McCann ( fast and vicious) and Master Chief Tank Todd ( a minister of death, trained by CCB masters). I'm adding this guy to my stack. He doesn't seem to have the speed and nastiness of the others mentioned... but what he teaches is on equal footing to anything I have seen. In fact he would probably have the best utilitarian style of fighting suitable for the average person. That's saying something because the other masters I have mention teach extremely utilitarian methods.
What I don't like from all the above guys is the limited dynamic demonstrations. What I mean by that is an opponent who isn't going to stand in front of you; who circles and dashes in and out with blinding speed. Who works angles and feints. When you have an opponent like that, straight way you options become more limited.

Practical, effective, and simple. Wow! Put my thoughts into this video. Practicing katas for show is great for show not fighting. Though the principles can become automatic and ingrained you have to practice real fighting with resistance. Amen. I wrestled and we rolled until we were drop dead tired to the bone. Confidence so important. Mindset #1. Excellent teaching here. Thank you.

Pushing into the joint to block a hook is a technique that I saw former heavyweight champ, George Forman used to neutralize Joe Fraser‘s lethal left hook. George would repeatedly blocked at the joint every time Fraser threw the punch upsetting his balanceThrowing off his timing and forcing him to reset

    • @erickeytie173

      Real fighting has zero rules...
Real fighting in the street is for your life...
You cannot go for the eyes with your fingers in UFC...
You also cannot full groin kick in UFC...
UFC is "sport fighting" not real fighting.
Real fighting they may have a knife, a bottle, friends to help, and won't stop when you're down or out.
