@@k0walsk I did not. I did gift this bag to my nephew for school. While I am my seen how it looks after 6 month is school use, I have not been asked for another bag. So it must be holding up well!
Thanks for the review-I had been looking at this but I don’t think it’s for me. I just ordered a Greenroom 136 Genesis-the smaller version so that I will carry less
jeff i am looking for a 20L backpack for work, was eyeing bellroy but thankfully i watch your review, back to the 20L backpack, can you give me a recommendation? thx dude
May favorite 20l pack now would be the Greenroom 136 Norhtseeker. I love that bag. It has a great shape to it, allowing you to carry a lot when needed. Tapered designs (like this Bellroy bag) may be 20l, but really limit what you can carry in them effectively. I also really like the GR1 21l. Also. Great bag. Though I would seek one of those out used, as GORUCK has really plummeted in their QC, and customer relations. As well as crank their prices.
Aer, Fjallraven, Bellroy, Cotopaxi, Thule, Timbuk2, the ridge, Hex are all bag companies jumping out to me doing a quick scroll on their brands filter. Along with all the junk you see from a big box store. But that’s more decent brands than I would have expected from a place like Nordstrom. Except Hex, they are trash. So I would expect to see a brand like that In a big chain store.
@@RealMuperSan I got this from Nordstrom Rack, which is their clearance items. Like any clearance section, check often. You never know what will go up for same at a great price.
Me too and I actually found them from your reviews so thanks! It seems like though that they are quite a bit bigger than the listed carrying capacity so it’s taken me a bit to figure out my jam. Hopefully this new one is just right because I am starting to feel like the Goldilocks of the bag world!

GREAT to hear a balanced review. Thank you.
You're welcome! And thank you for watching!
@@jeffgrantMEDIA Did you encounter any issues with slipping straps or scratches on the material? Any concerns over the long term?

Is the clssic the same as class premium except for the material?
I’m not a 100% sure I’m that. As I’m not a huge Bellroy fan, but I believe you are correct.
As someone that's owned both. Yes is just material.
What other brands does Nordstrom sell? I saw they had Aer bags at one point. Never knew they sold bellroy too.

Wow, I think this bag is not for me.
It’s definitely not for everyone.
