Thank you pastor, I'm a Catholic Christian, growing up in the 60s we had a Bible in our home it was never once token out to read, none of us knew the word of God. I'm now 65 and only learning. This sermon has bin a real blessing to me. God bless.

I was at the same time surprised and glad to see, how the word of God always does its task entirely. God gave me a message to preach to my small group exactly about the same principle: that our faith is something practical, not a theory. I talked about another passage when Jesus says: IF YOU BELIEVE AND DO NOT DOUBT, (...)YOU WILL SAY TO THIS MOUNTAIN TO THROW ITSELF INTO THE SEA, AND IT WILL BE DONE (Mt 21;21). So the first step is to believe and the second and most important step is to stay firm in your belief. Peter believed and walked on the water but did not do the second part of Jesus' teachings: he started to doubt after having believed, after having taken the step of faith. We must believe and continue to believe so that everything will be possible!
