Regardless of the story's pitfalls, the casting is perfect so far, and the actors are top-notch. I always had a hard time trying to figure out who would be perfect to play master chief, and never would have thought Pablo Schreiber was the perfect fit we were all missing. Happy with the show so far, can't wait to see more!

My favorite is Vannak. Quiet badass focused on being the best warrior he can and the actor completely sells it. All of the actors are doing an amazing job though

I instantly recognized Cortana’s voice without even seeing the video at first. Happy they had the show although they have to hear the comments about the lore accuracy. More action and maybe a Marines point of view. Like they’re getting overrun by covenant and they’re closing in on them, then silver team comes in and just wrecks them and master chief gives the Marine a head nod and hands him a weapon. Then they fight together. That’s be a dream come true.

I absolutely love the Halo Show and the Characters! I have my alarm set at 1am every Thursday: I wake to watch the Halo Show, go back to sleep, wake an hour early for work, watch it again, go to work, and watch it again over dinner!

So good to see people are enjoying the show i thoughtmost peopledislikedthe show from reading comments on other youtube channels. I have bern playing halo since 2001 and halo infinite is my main game atm and i enjoy this show showing what halo truly a story with a lot of density and not just covenant smashing masterchief. I understand ppl getting mad aboutMC not having armor for a lot of episodes but se now know John dies and Mc becomes mister chief on episode 9
Crazy that the Indian lady maintains a native accent, 1,500 years into the future and on a whole other planet.
I thought it interesting that the actors that played Captain Keyes and Miranda have British accents, yet in the show they’re not. But Halsey keeps hers… hmm.

Not saying that I hate it, but the characters and story really aren’t true to the source material and the production value has consistent immersion breaking problems.
@@pwslattery I guess we have to agree to disagree. The universe is huge and has plenty of room for a lore accurate tv show to exist. Choosing to avoid core canon and re-write all the main characters into entirely different personalities does seem lazy. The criticism is similar to Halo 5, on its own it isn’t necessarily bad but they’ve changed so much can it still be called Halo?

@@VenVile your opinion is in the minority, and the fact that you can't conceive the viable critism for this show says plenty. The showrunner is on record for saying that they didn't look at or play the game when creating the show, and that's a big red flag if you're an actual fan of the series.

I've never plays Halo, but after watching the TV show I will start to play the whole collection of games.
Don't stop there. Halo is more than the game series. The books, graphic novels and movies are just as every part of HALO.
Do yourself a favour. Stop watching this abomination. Ignore 343s games. Play Bungies Halos and read the books. Paramount and 343 don't exist, they're nothing more than a fart in the wind.
You should watch the TV series after. You'll be able to fully appreciate how they butchered everything about Halo's story.

This series is wonderful. End of episode 6 had the hair on my body standing. Just gets better and better. Make 20 seasons at the minimum.

The game, the books, the comics, shorts, bungie, 343, they all have their own lore and way of story-telling in this universe. Eventually someday it may get standardized, but for now, just know that there really is no standard lore besides the larger conflicts.

Also, even as if some of the books and games of the Halo series are bad, which is true, at least they try to be stuff that is compatible with the Halo lore. The TV show is totally incompatible with the Halo lore, which is why it has a different canon instead of being apart of the core canon of Halo.

I've never played the game or anything else, but when I saw there was a tv series with real actors in it, I had to give it a look. I really like it. Well written, well acted, well produced.

I'm a little late to the show because I don't really watch much TV/streaming anymore but I watched all 9 episodes yesterday and I was thoroughly impressed. The graphics and the Universe it immerses you in felt so much like the original 3 games. The weaponry and all the subtle nods to the game (using the shield down sound effect or FPS POVs) were masterful. It did create its own storyline and I'm ok with that because the storyline had depth and emotion. Can't wait for Season 2. The only thing I wish would've happened is that they had used more of the original Halo musical theme throughout. I was also amazed at how many English actors playing American actors there were in this.
Side note, I'm so glad they kept Jen Taylor for Cortana, perfect addition. No one else is a perfect at Cortana as she is.

I will admit when MC first took off his helmet I was taken aback. But quickly understood this was moving in a different direction than game lore. Yes i've played Halo for years now but i'm a little older now (pushing 50) and see what and why they are doing what they're doing. I love it. Bring on season 2.

The season appeared to be planned, it wasn’t them trying to “make to most” of their opportunity to try keep the show running because it’s already guaranteed more seasons so they’re story for the first season appeared to be more of a setup than a compelling story, so my expectations for the next season are rather high considering how much potential they wasted on the backstory, hopefully they did it with reason

Great series. I've gamed since 1979 and my son after me. We were as excited as two 10 year old's to see Halo and it does not disappoint. It's a rich storyline, great actors and looks stunning. As a minor aside, as a Brit, it's always fun to see Josette Simon in a role. I'm so old I remember her in Blake's Seven.

Their is a huge lacking of major lore concepts. It’s terrible. I could keep listing the thousand errors that exist within their perception of the covenant alone.
