it is an awesome kit, yes; the only con is the price. At least here in Germany the Black costs ~90 € more than the PackTalk Bold (which is the same unit), the 45mm speakers cost 78 €; so you can buy the Bold AND the 45mm-speakers for less and have the additional 40mm speakers... I bought the Black nonetheless because it looks nicer on my helmets - but to pay about 50 € for the color is a bit annoying....
I got the black a couple days ago and let me tell you HEY cardo is a joke works 1-10× but if I say ok Google it works 9-10× I hot it for the jbl speakers and they do sound damn good I do like the auto volume up and down features when at highway speeds the volume goes up when coming to a stop or slowing fown thr volume goes down so will I recommend to a friend I need more seat time
Try running a splitter from the 3.5 jack of the comms unit where you would plug in the speakers. Run one split to the speakers in the helmet and one split into the mic port of your GoPro 😉
What other intercom units have you used here in the Philippines? Can you share your opinion on some of the more budget models? I am reluctant to pay 2x the price (compared to NA) when there are cheaper options available.
Ive tried the Midland BTNext. Good value, certainly an apples to oranges comparison when put next to a premium system like Cardo but what you get for the price you paid is pretty fair.
My buddy and I are having a problem with music volume while we are riding together. When we are alone everything works fine but once we hook up mesh, the music volume drops out drastically. Is that normal or are we doing something wrong?
Hey billy, havent experienced this, sorry i dont have an answer for you. I appreciate the comments though. Will add to this message if i come up with anything. Thanks for tuning in 😉
Good day sir pao! One of your subscriber here from laguna. Planning to get one po. Pero hndi ba ramdam sa both ears yung speaker nya inside the helmet po? TIA!
Definitely thicker ang larger speakers. I lightly modified the size of the speaker pockets in my helmet with a dremel to make the larger speakers have a better fit sa loob ng helmet.
Pretty sure it wiould, i dont see why it shouldnt. There are several mounting and mic options included. So it should be able to mount on pretty much all helmets 😉
@@PAbrera1 ok thank you ,I just want to make sure before money because it's pretty boring for me to ride without music, and my new helmet just came which is glamster just fits exactly at my head, and I can't wear my regular bluetooth headphones anymore( too tight while wearing glamster), so I came across searching options which is intercoms and found your video about cardo.
@@yato8940 if you like your music youll appreciate the JBL speakers 👌🏽 note though that often you must lightly “modify” the speaker pockets in some helmets to be deeper to accomodate the slightly bigger/thicker speakers. Good luck 👍🏽
Hi Sir Paolo, big fan from manila! I would like to ask what is your normal motorcycle voltage at idle? Mine is currently at 14.4-14.7 volts without the headlights. Is it normal? Thanks in advance, stay safe!! 😊🏍
Janrick Jethro Batac yes bro, pag fresh na galing sa charger its in the 14 range. After a few days, rested voltage is anywhere 12.5- 13 for me. It varies for me, depende sa bike n sa battery condition.
Stocks are a bit hard to come by now but Ride Manila is an official distributor, best to try them para may warranty/assured service pag may problems 😉 facebook.com/1619447511638242/

Hi, would like to know how do you record audio from the intercom on your GoPro. Tks mate.
