I think Southern vs Northern invasions success is mainly a story of inner divide and treachery. Northern forces manipulated these weaknesses of divided South. Marhatas inculcated an ideology of united Hindu front against foreign usurpers from North. This ideology helped create a martial sikh force to counter Afghanis attacks in Punjab. United front against foreign powers was the key factor. But again Hindustan lost this ideological strength when European ships started searching business markets in Indian South. This time foreign invasion happened but disguised not as a military power but as a lucrative opportunity of business ventures. But the results were same, slavery.
Be happy people listen to you so attentively other wise people like me with low attention understood No taxation without representation and didn’t notice your slip of tongue
Dr. Sahab I think the US establishment was afraid of IK because in his charisma, unblemished character, and true leadership they saw the threat of pan-Islamism becoming a reality. They had known his resistance to US drone campaign in the former tribal areas of Pakistan. They had seen the powerful persuasion he has in his speeches at the UNGA and other global forums. They knew about the idea of a English language TV channel for fighting Islamophobia that IK had proposed. They had seen his government’s stance against drone strikes during his tenure as PM. They had seen his independent thinking and the bold decisions he had taken to take Pakistan to 6.3% growth rate. Also his courageous and bold decision to retaliate after the Balakot bombing by India didn’t fit the US plans to establish Indian hegemony in the subcontinent. His meeting with Putin was disliked by the US and European powers. So all of this combined caused the US to decide to remove him from power and they used their cronies - the generals to do the dirty work. To hide all that they needed a cover. The cover was provided by hiring of Haqani as a lobbyist and the army’s plan to reinstall Sharifs. Ambassador Assad Majeed invited Donald Lu to come to Pakistan house in DC. Why? Possibly because ISI had bugged it and US knew about it. This way what Donald Lu said was heard by or conveyed to General Bajwa. Even though CIA chief had visited Pakistan a couple of times to meet IK but instead met with Gen. Bajwa possibly because Bajwa didn’t want IK to meet him. Assad Majeed sent the meeting minutes to Pakistan in the form of a cypher which probably would have never happened if someone else was the ambassador. So it clearly looks like a collusion of the US and the dirty Generals. I’m not sure who really started it though - the dirty Generals or the US establishment.
Totally agree it was the combination of Indo American and Pakistani Establishment. They were really afraid of Imran khan popularity in the subcontinent especially after Balakot strikes reaction and UNGA speech. They saw Imran khan as a potential threat for their goals still Imran khan is the most famous Muslim leader in Pakistan, Afghanistan,India and Bangladesh.

Answer to the question: The change in the north/south balance of power in post 1761 subcontinent can be attributed to several key factors. Geographically, the southern kingdoms leveraged their terrain for defense more effectively. Militarily, they adopted European tactics and technologies, significantly enhancing their firepower and strategic capabilities. The decline of the Mughal Empire, once a major northern aggressor, reduced the frequency and scale of invasions from the north, allowing southern states like the Maratha Empire to consolidate power and expand their influence. Political consolidation and the formation of strategic alliances became more common, strengthening the southern states' ability to resist external aggression. The increasing influence of European colonial powers, especially the British, shifted the focus towards resisting colonial expansion. Southern kingdoms, learning from past conflicts, built robust military and economic structures and engaged in strategic diplomacy to counter threats. This period marked the rise of regional powers adept at modernizing their armies and employing diplomacy, which collectively contributed to their resilience against invasions and their ability to maintain sovereignty against northern and European challenges.
People of Pakistan should continue their protest till all looted national and provincial assembly seats are returned to their real winners. Keep it up. God be with you.
My understanding is that the USA itself is slowly losing its status of biggest superpower. The reason is its too much reliance upon Moody Sarkar and also upon terrorist organisation in the past.
