This is probably the most important interview about hip hop ever. Nore & DJ effen deserve all their credit for their interviewing tactics and the energy they bring.
It's alotta knowledge and wisdom in this interview... Way before my time but respect to the one of the originators.
Damn I never seen the scar where somebody tried to slit his throat... That's a wild scar.
I'm 41 and this was before my time but I know about his impact but no understanding of the actual impact. This interview is for hip hop purist
This felt like a schooling on dee jaying & a legitimate conference... All eyes on the master

The Grand Master Flash. Hip Hop Historian, and also the inventor of the Quick Mix Theory. Legendary Hip Hop Icon. I managed the Foot Locker in Bay Shore Mall one day when I realized Flash was in the store...I started to turn around and inform my co-workers when he said, "bruh...I'd appreciate if you kept me on the low". I was amazed, after seeing Flash and the Furious Five perform live in the Bronx during high school. The Grand Master Flash deserves ALL the flowers. One of the best Drink Champs interviews ever. Why not it is racial everything has to do with race in this country he has every right to state facts about our culture who are you to say he can’t??? When it comes to our culture we verybidy wants to say don’t make it racial but when it comes to salsa or reggae nobody ain’t saying that even though Black Americans had hands on created both! We are not supposed to homer our history in this country after all we have been thru in this country and still we were able to produce these great things that world enjoys but don’t want to hear the pain behind it all but we are supposed to respect others cultures but yall don’t want to respect ours this is our fault we are to inviting to outsiders this has to stop!

The Pioneer! I'm a 57yr young White dude who was front row center for the beginning of this incredible musical genre. I've stayed true to myself and true to the hip-hop culture. Take it back to the dances at the gyms, the Fresh Fest concert, the days when DJs could play what they wanted. Pre Autotune, when 2 turntables, a cross-fade, a microphone, and a boatload of talent was what it took to make history!

    2 things....
    1. Thank you for bringing on Grand Master Flash, the way he told stories and taught us important hip-hop history that was captivating and phenomenal!
    2. This is for the Drink Champs production team: please improve the microphone, sound, lighting, the camera equipment and amateur operators. In this and many other episodes, the footage is blurry, shaky, at times not even in frame. The sound or microphones are not placed correctly, sometimes the lighting is off making a person look too bright or too dark. Drink Champ production team, please elevate your production, stop using amateurs or low budget methods. The platform has grown and viewership has increased, fans need you to continuously adapt and better the production for quality sake.
