Great video Brendan! I've been using Gutenbricks on my latest client project and it's completely changed my way of thinking. I'm not even bothered about Components in Bricks at this point. 😂 This plugin, when used with a solid template library like frames, Brixies etc, and ACSS is super powerful! I even went as far as adding a global colour options page and adding the GB Meta value:label using ACF! I can now add/remove global colour swatch options from an options page! I'll look at the Inner block feature next, thanks again for this video!
With the marketeers that I have worked with, this will help out big time. Marketeers can pre-made custom sections to build the structure and pages, and as a design engineer (?) we control the design and development.
In general? Gutenbricks does support CPTs from acf/metabox for sure. And i believe it supports the more complex stuff like repeaters also. I honestly havent tried it that much in a few versions, and I think it's more powerful now. I'll add to the list of content/video ideas to check out. If you end up trying it out, LMK! Cheers.
Not sure yet. I think I can see the case for both, unless you want everything in ACF that you can. I am thinking of using GB Meta since its tied and dependent there anyway. not sure if you can reuse these fields across blocks, havent tried that yet
Nice tutorial.. I just hate everything about the look of Gutenberg. I see you have Advanced Themer, you don't use it's Nested Elements feature? Sidenote, in AT there is the "Zoom-Out" feature.. allows you to see the single card while you're working on it, in a smaller view.
Havent used the AT Zoom out feature yet, keep forgetting about all the new features. The nested elements are nice, I also forget about those. I saw there are more community recipes/nested templates now too which is cool.
Excellent video, Brendan. Wishing you a happy, healthy, peaceful & prosperous 2025. 👏🏻
Thanks! Same to you onward and upward for 2025

GutenBricks for the win…
That's right!
Awesome
✌️ thanks for tuning in
Great features. Does it integrate and work with cpt posts and acf custom fields?

Do you use ACF or GB Meta as default?

Possible to share the JSON for the feature Grid?
i'll need to check if i deleted that site. what part are you looking for specifically?
@BrendanOConnellWP The feature grid. The grid is the easy part, but the GB settings would be helpful to start experimenting.
@@michaelvandinther send me an email or dm on socials I'll give the json
