They are the best shoe I ever skated so far. Somehow the kick flips where totally off so I had to totally readjust how I flic them. But otherwise. Most comfortable shoe while super sturdy. I am skating them now for 2 weeks with fp insoles.
What I do not like is that they only come with one pair of laces. I have the green ones. And... well... if that one rips apart you can not get a second pair from somewhere... in green. The laces have their own structure also .. so even if you would find a pair of green ones... they would be totally different. But I build lace guards out of trick tape anyhow for all my skate shoes. Somehow they always rip on the top hole after an hour otherwise.
Do the New Balance Numeric 306, please. Big Boy Foy needs some love for the clips he has been putting out.

I got these and personally love them. Great flick, board feel, and durability. Granted anything above a 4 stair and I'm out. So cant speak much on impact. Have landed primo a couple times and didnt hurt too bad.

Great video! Getting back into skating after 20+ years of no skating. I feel like a newborn baby deer on the board but a lot of muscle memory is coming back. Needed a new skate shoe and i think I’m going to check these out now. Hopefully i don’t break my 32 year old body before i start landing tricks again. Cheers!

I have the same issue with the shoe ripping where I do heel flips try just ductaping it before you skate

i bought the white and i bought the grey also and i love them but i do feel there needs to be more shoe in the back it feels like it might fall off sometimes.
Like your videos man👌 I've skated alot of shoe brands..(sorry 4 the bad English 😂). I love the different vans pro types, and the way the high soles give it a real good flip on the board. And it looks simple and not to futuristic... The last year's I've been skating DC shoes... And I use to hate them back in the early 2000. It used to have a kinda bulky shitty looks and feel...now I'm in my early 30's and DC shoes are the best shoes I've skated... Try out the lemos shoe or Manolo kalis shoe. Shit man 👌👌👍 it feels like clouds with boardfeel✌️

As a former Vans employee I can confirm that they only send out one or two sizes for new shoes. They used to send us 13s and 3.5s if we are going to be getting kids sizes. It was super lame

I’ve skated 3 pairs of aves , 2 kyler walker pros, and not the kyler walker pro 2s, after blasting through all of them, but I’m wondering which one is the most durable for my next pair, could to do a vans pro comparison vid?
I got the blues and fucking love em! Got me some DKL grip tape (the non abrasive stuff) and my shoes look as tight as when I bought em 2 weeks ago. Been skating everyday 🤙

Idk why no company has “duracapped” the heel collar. Even heelflips on neen’s FP shoe ripped the “reinforced collar” in like 20 mins

If anyone buys these I highly recommend you try on/get a half size down due do to the shoe being 80% mesh the mesh is supposed to stretch around your foot not be all loose.

I am currently skating those rn, they honestly are amazing and are really comfortable. I’ve skated them for atleast 6 months so it’s gonna be good for a long time (it lasted that long bc of shoe goo and patches to cover holes)

I bought those once and everything but the heelflip was good. Great grip board feel and wear when doing olies or kickflip treflips... but as I did about 6 herlflips the material was gone but there was a big hole in my sock.. all in all a good shoe but bad material at some places. Also a little pricy

I bought the blue ones for $140 Canadian about a year and a half ago, painful price but that's just the prices in Canada. I don't skate myself but do a ton of walking around and can eat through the regular Vans 'diamond' shape undersole in a couple months. The first Vans I bought that lasted years were the Trujillo advanced prototype, I was impressed with those shoes but apparently they're not made anymore? I then bought these shoes in the video and holy hell they not only look great but there's hardly any wear on them for the amount of walking I do.

@@christianflores lol, yeah, prices in Canada are brutal. For clothes and stuff, whatever the US price is usually costs us an extra 30-40 bucks up here and prices shown in stores here don't include the tax. My shoes were like 120, after taxes though it came up to like 140-ish.

I've had 3 pairs. Regular and GT. Gets ollie hole in 1-2 days. Flick area will never last a month, and they are thin with very little protection. To give them a positive word, they are very comfy, especially if you have narrow feet.
can you do a review on any huf shoe before they're gone? or a cons jack purcell?
He has already reviewed hufs, and all of their shoes are really similar so he doesn't need to do another review.
