I skated them last summer, lasted me pretty good. The insoles aren’t the greatest though and they’re stitched in so you can’t switch em out for what you prefer. Otherwise I’d say it skated about as good as most vans pro shoes do. The rubber toe cap definitely extended the flip trick lifespan as well. Just bummed that they had to do the stitched in insole, but if that doesn’t bother you then it’s no problem. But another thing to keep in mind is that it’s not the usual insole that vans often has, in my opinion it’s not as comfortable or as shock absorbing. Hope that helps.
The transparency of your channel is what the people need! I almost bought these thinking the react will be great. But good to know they're not skate friendly.

Just stumbled upon your channel, definitely some of the best skating shoe reviews here on this platform. Personally I would love to see you skate a vintage 1970s to 1980s Nike bruin leather. Look wise probably one of my favourite skating shoe silhouettes, it’s just a shame that they are no longer produced, and the resale prices are absolutely insane, even on the remasters from 2015-2016 etc.

Your review is spot on, I’m still breaking them in and they’re stiff … I was hoping the insoles would mold to my feet, but as you recommended replacing the insoles is pretty much essential. Too expensive!

Great review, but I definetly don't have the money for those. Would love to see some cheaper cupsole shoes like the DC Legacy 98 Slims. Love the consistent uploads btw, keep up the grind man you are gonna get huge I can already see it.
Super good shoe, been through 3 pairs. Outsole wears out a bit quickly though.
The upper lasted very very long.
Impact protection is unfortunately next to non-existent :(
