  • A good video showing the M9 suckiing that bit extra from the iron.
Lots of signals to listen to and learn from, plus advice on the extreme side of detecting etc.

That’s a lot of signals in a small patch 😊 especially as it’s been hammered by you already 👍🏻 cool 😎

I absolutely love that you show it picking signals up at 35 and how it makes a difference, I thrive off people telling me it's impossible to pull an 18'' silver dime, or a 25'' gold ring. I always have the same answer for the people that don't believe it is possible, go "Slow -N- Low". I've learned a lot about metal detecting in the last 18 months and I've put more time in than I think most people do in years in that time. I honestly struggled to understand the Manti the first two months and your videos and settings set a great baseline for me to start modifying and tweaking settings from. I tend to build a program for every site each day, and my programs are constantly changing to the situation and even where I am in the field I'm hunting. I have about 1500 hours in on the Manticore now and still almost every setup I build is a variant of your freestyle setting. I've got the 9" coil on the way and am really looking forward to going over areas I've basically cleaned out. Keep up the awesome videos, I am always interested to see them and pick up the little tips and tricks you drop. One day I hope to get out there and do some detecting with you.

Point taken re sens and speed of swing but tbh I probably wouldnt have dug 90% of those signals you showed, and I wouldnt have missed anything good. Really useful you showing the 2d traces thanks

To many choice and mediocre finds come in at that 90% bud 👍 thanks for the comment.

Hi, thanks👍I have a small question though, is it better to put the sense if possibill to the max or rather keep the sense low, there are many rumors that you should keep the sense down:-/ gr. M

It depends how serious you are and how you detect as in technique.
If you detect like those who say keep your sensitivity low it wont matter to much.
But if you search on the extreme side of detection then yes it makes a difference.
Put my Freestyle program in and it will make it doable for you.
Slow and steady scraping the surface lightly and gridding, follow your coil overlapping, as in dont walk or step, move your feet forward like a penguin, if you don't you won't overlap your coil so will miss loads, do 2 to 3 seconds left swing and 2 to 3 seconds right swing so full swing 4 to 6 seconds.
Only on productive hotspots though of course and your finds rate will shoot up.
Sorry for the late reply 🙏
