Yes and I'll keep my 15 RG, not a fan of the new looks, ride and tech. I myself have been in IT for 24 years and I feel the new tech is a flaw and not well planned. With the amount of issues so far, tells you HD dropped the ball. I get it, new tech, new platform will have issues but I guess I am old school and don't care to have the big screen with everything. The other issue is the cost of repair for the headlight, tail light and infotainment. The headlight alone is $1600, willing to bet the screen is 4k. Just my take on the 24's
The comments about ergos are on point. I have the 24 RG and, after a couple of months, any desire to change the bars (or seat) is gone. Of course I want to make changes, but the comfort is already dialed.
I love mine but I did buy the faster color, blue. I went in expecting to buy a new Street Glide however when I went for a test ride the GM came along on the Road Glide while I rode out on the Street Glide. We swapped bikes and by the time we got back to the dealer I had decided on the Road Glide. That white is amazing in person. Mine is wholly stock, I came from the 117 on the Low Rider ST and it still felt like night and day. A rider's back rest is still one of the best additions anyone can do.
That’s weird I thought my white was faster than the blue 🤣🤣…. I did test ride the street glide too because I came from a street glide. I just fell in love with how the RG rode 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I always liked the Street Glide over the RG. Rode the Street Glide at bike week and decided it would be my next bike. I rode the RG at my dealer and the taller bars made all the difference for me. Just bought one and kept my old mustang seat. I hope they don’t change the CEO!
Thanks for the video Mike - look forward to hearing your thoughts on bat wing vs shark nose in a future video. I've always preferred the bat wing, but haven't tried a road glide yet. Have only sat on the road glide at the dealership.
I traded my 2022 ScGS for a 2024 Fatboy. Got a great deal at McGrath harley davidson in Dubuque Iowa. I just love my new Fatboy. I had 2 SGS. I love how the Fatboy rides and handles.
I’ve got a 2024 street glide and my wife and I rode to Jasper turning off of 65 taking 7. The bike did a great job. I changed the handlebars to KST 12” patriots . The stock bars just seemed way too low and cramped.
I have not written the 2024s yet the owner at my dealership told me if I took a test ride on one I’d be trading my 2020 in on one.. I told him probably not because I’m not impressed with the dash or the cluster it kind of reminds me of driving a new car in my opinion everything that that 2024 has I could upgrade my 2020 with some of the same options as far as Suspension and ride
Hey Man Mountain Mike, I appreciate the work you continue to put in on this channel. However, I’m a Street Glide guy. Hope to meet all the members here at the BBB Rally.
I dont know who they used in the wind tunnel on the street glide, but they had to have been 5ft 5in... The wind baffling on my 24' Street Glide is almost unbearable above 60mph. Im 5ft 9in, and it doesn't matter how i adjust the "vent" or if i wear a full face or cap helmet. I have owned a Harley 1200 without any windshield or faring, and a Kawasaki ZX-10R. The wind baffling on the sporster at over 100mph+, and the ZX10R at 195+mph were both less harsh than this street glide. *Conveniently Harley has taller windshields that you can buy for almost $300.... So far though this is my only complaint but ive only owned it a week
@@RidingintheOzarks same price and 8ish days to ship. If they had it in dark smoke I'd but it from them. But according to the rep I talked to it will be 3weeks + before they are back in stock
@@RidingintheOzarks my local dealer has one that I'm picking up tomorrow. Gonna try out the 8" one and see if makes enough difference. If it does then I'll keep it until the klock werks dark one is back in stock and find someone to but my Harley one from me.
I had the no sound multiple times even after the update. But the worst thing with the new screen is when it rains. The water running on the screen acts like fingers scrolling and moving the map or pressing on stuff constantly ... HD should enable to lock the screen touch capabilities.
Yeah..... more torque and more horsepower, and also a giant ugly television screen in the fairing, and a bike filled with computers that will break overtime. So, I stick to my old Twin-cam.
Have you ridden the 2024 Road Glide yet?

I took 7 to peels on way home yesterday 😎
I would love to see your review of the 117 2023 ST versus the 117 2024 ST since I drive the Fast Johnnie
They still have the same CEO. No business from me until he's gone.

Before I see the vog I bet you love the bike voggers say the same thing
There are few things i would change and that I am not in love with but overall it was a great bike.
