Who needs TV when you got the Laidlaw crew on tour. Thanks guys.
Yes sir! haha thanks!
100%
Agree, tuning in from Australia - Laidlaw's to Sturgis is officially now on the bucket list!
So true watching from Australia fantastic video of the tour so far .
Who watches TV these days. Watching from New Zealand
I really enjoy your way of narrating your videos and the music always seems to perfectly fit the content. Well done, Matt! So very kind of Andrew to help that stranded lady, and Stephan is hilarious, loved him being part of this video!
I couldn’t agree more with all you said. I definitely enjoy the history and how Matt narrates his videos. Stephan is definitely hilarious and with that mustache he looks like he could be Matt’s uncle.
Haha yea, Stefan was a welcome addition to the crew. I'm not sure why we rejected his application so many times. Hah! Thanks for the props! and thank you for watching
@@MattLaidlaw😂
If Matt ever needed a new full time job, he’d be a world class documentary filmmaker. Amazing stuff as always!
I'm thinking about making a career change. Hah!
Stefan represented german🇩🇪 friendliness and Humor perfect. What a amazing video
He represented Germany in a very positive light. He’s seriously a really good dude with a ton of positive personality traits.
I love his humor. I want him to install some shocks on myRoad Glide for me.
Props to Andrew for helping that lady out, firstly with his time then by making sure she would be ok waiting for more help.
Also, the music choice on this is amazing. 🔥🔥
Best regards from New Zealand and thanks for sharing the experience.
awesome, so much effort put into this
My newest favorite channel… I just searched for part 2 for like 10 mins before noticing this was only posted 2 days ago lol
Nice one Andrew! The world is a better place with good folk like you helping out people in need. Another great vid.
I love the background music
Best stuff on TV any night of the week, watching the Laidlaw Riders crush miles across the land! Everyone of these you just take up another notch. Stefan was stealing the show, love that guys delivery! 🤣😂 Great selfless gesture for your boy to throw some money to that stranded girl, to help. Man I love those give-back opportunities. Sends a great message to all. Matt, exceptional content. Can’t wait to dive into the next episode tomorrow!
Thanks man. Thank you for watching. Yea, Stefan I think is stealing the show. Haha.
We all are pretty blessed so it’s always good to try to help others around us. I think we all could do even better sometimes. Andrew is a stand up guy.
Was hoping for a Sturgis series when I saw you and Mr Bogan slip past the camera on another creators vid.
Whoever is doing the production work and selecting the music for this episode is doing an amazing job, and deserves a raise :)
Thank you sir! We got tons more content coming!
I’ll give myself a raise I guess. 👍🏼👍🏼
Amazing footage! So nice what Andrew did for the young lady. Beautiful film and great soundtrack, well done!
Stefan is so funny. What a gentleman.
Number one thing to pack on every trip is Andrew and Brandon! Thanks Matt👍🏻
Haha. Agreed!
Definitely Andrew cracks me up.
Thanks for sharing such an epic adventure. The scenery was gorgeous. I hope to see it in person very soon. Great video.
I love a man who isn't afraid to say I love you to another man. You do love your guys Matt, and they feel the same way about you.
If I was looking for a job, Laidlaw's HD would be the place I'd go!
I got nothing but love for my guys.
WoW! That 120 degree weather ain't no joke. The scenery coming West to Sturgis is far better than coming from the East. Great footage and editing as always.
Ain't that the truth. Once we hit Colorado we were pretty much good at that point
Is that 120 degree Fahrenheit ?
Reminded me once leaving Durango, CO at 5am, 38 degrees, with a buddy on his Heritage, me on my Softail Standard. Kept reaching down alongside the heads to get heat to my hands. Rode all day, over 500 miles to land in the desert where temps were at 115 degrees when we finished. 38 to 115 in the same day was quite a shock to the system. Lol @@MattLaidlaw
Absolutely EPIC!!!!! i wish i can go back to day one!
Great memories my friend. Thanks for all the amazing shots you got. 🤙🏼
I'm in!!!
Great video Matt. These UA-cam vids you're making are awesome. You can see the work you are putting into the whole piece. What an awesome ride.
Amazing footage. I've watched this at least 4 times. Cannot wait for the next episode to drop. Keep them coming! Don't wait too long
My first Sturgis, the 38th. in 1978, there were only 25 thousand in attendance. Same in 80-83. The next time I went in 1997there were almost a half a million people there. I haven’t been there since 1998. Booked the Chip in 22, but a medical issue came up, couldn’t go, and lost all of my unrefundable full price reservation for 4 days. Glad I didn’t go this year because of the slop. Thanks for the show.
Yea it got muddy at the chip.
Matt, you do these videos so dang well! I've ridden most of these roads (paved!) and really enjoy riding them again watching you and the boys. WELL DONE! Be safe.
One of the best videos yet!!! Love the music choices as well!!! Just simply amazingly awesome!!!!!!
Thank you!!! Appreciate you watching and thanks for the comment!
Another great video! Love the music! And Stephen needs to be in more videos!
Rode the 50th Anniversary. Custom Low Rider. went by myself. ran into some riding buddies in Deadwood. Met some Fantastic people on the way. 5300+ miles in 18 days through the West. Arizona base. 10+ days in rain, snow and tornados. interesting trip. Well done video showing the ride. that is what counts.
Next week i'll be riding with a couple of buddies of mine from Romania to Faaker See at the 25th anniversary European Bike Week. It's been a dream of mine since 2018 when i first heard about the event. Seeying your video i have to say my excitment for the trip just skyrocketed! Great clip by the way, hats of to you, your friends and your team for providing us such beautiful and rich content everytime! Keep up the great work sir and greetings from Romania!
Great video Matt enjoyed the footage America is such a beautiful place to ride
Great video. I love Stefan! LOL at the mustache humor! 😂😂
The best videographer and story teller on UA-cam, the narration, scenic shots, music, everything is quality, keep up the good work. PS. Andrew looks lean and mean, lost weight, working out, he should be the Harley Davidson fitness guru :):) Great work, what a great crew! All the Best
Thank you George. I appreciate the huge compliment. Yes, Andrew has been busting his ass in the gym and in the kitchen.
Excellent stuff, Matt!! Thanks for taking us along!!
Matt, it always amazes me how you always find the perfect soundtrack to go along with your videos. Not only is your footage fantastic, but you accompany the perfect score to every single scene that warrants music, you belong in Hollywood 👍🏻
I’m going to love this, I just know it ✊
Great first Episode, I rode to Sturgis in 1996 from St. John's Newfoundland, Canada, I will be 70 this year, but hope to do it again. But for now I will live it with your
Chronicles. Thanks so much for sharing, Fantastic editing ..
Between Laidlaw and Swedlund, my moto documentaries needs are taken care of. Thanks Matty L for sharing your journey / trip with us. 🇦🇺✌🏻
10 minutes in and I know this is going to be an epic series. This is quality entertainment.
Your videos are top notch Matt! Loved having Stefan in this one what a great dude. Also wow Andrew not only looking good man but what a good dude trying to help the girl out. Beautiful ride reminds me of the last ride with my old man…wished it would never end.
Thanks for the comment 👍🏼 Yea Stefan is just a good people person. Funny, smart, always positive, helpful. Etc. I don’t want to say too much because I want to keep him humble too. He might read these comments. Yea, Andrew is seriously disciplined right now. 💪🏼💪🏼
Awesome scenery Matt, gotta be tough in that heat, can’t wait for next episode 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yea it was crazy hot but it was worth the trip.
@@MattLaidlaw absolutely; just got back from Banff Alberta ,a great bike ride too
Great start on the Sturgis Chronicles. Looking forward to the next episode.
Matt I was really surprised at your filmmaking and story telling abilities. You were able to capture and describe a lot of feelings that are hard to touch on as a motorcycle enthusiast and someone who rides. Your able to bring something to video that most can’t with your story telling.
I used to be in the Army as an infantryman, who dressed in a Russian uniform and carried an AK-47, at a base via two-lane road 42 miles away from Barstow called Fort Irwin. My bike was my main form of Transport back then and I loved riding in that desert heat. Sorry that it's not such a great ride for y'all, takes a little getting used to. This was such a great video because now I live in tree-covered Georgia, and I miss riding in that Desert Sun. So from a weird angle thank you for this video! And when I do get that ride out in that beautiful Southwest, I'm damn sure riding my sweaty ass into Laidlaw HD❤
70 runs all the way to my neck of the woods in Maryland. I used to ride back and forth between Baltimore and Pittsburgh a bunch on 70 and it was super scenic even over here. The majority of that stretch went through the rolling hills in Appalachia. Fantastic in the summer, and absolutely gorgeous in the fall when the leaves changed.
Outstanding job as usual, Matt and crew!!! A group of friends road our motorcycles from northern Utah to Sturgis for the 83rd Rally this year!
Thank you!!
Thank you for taking us on your adventure....I can't wait for part 2
Thanks for coming along. Episode 2 should be better
Great work guys everything you want to see in a motorcycle video without the bull **** hope you had a great time thanks again 👊🏼🖤🏍️
Awesome.
I never knew the history behind it.
That Lowrider s is bad ass! And your bike too Matt!
Great job on the video.
Looking forward to the rest. Thanks for taking us along
Great video! Really well done. I always look forward to them. Excited about the Sturgis Chronicles!
Glad to see you guys had a good time other than being hotter than hades. Unfortunately the rally was not this sway. Someone said it was the coldest and wettest rally in like 20 years. I’d believe it
The Virgin River Gorge might be the most underrated strath of the entire interstate system.
Fantastic. Who would have thought that would enjoy, and very much enjoy a Harly story. Great work mate
Harley stories are the best 😁 thanks for watching
Awesome video, I felt like I was riding along, can't wait for Episode 2.
Thanks man. I think episode 2 will be better.
Matt BIG thanks to you and your team for getting me into the shop to get my forks repaired while out in L.A. It was great meeting you and Nick and I wish I would have had my GoPro but it had overheated. Anyway I got back to Oklahoma safely thanks to you guys.
Wow. Absolutely brilliant... Love the scenery... Great video Matt! So very jealous...
Thank you for always making us feel like we are on the ride with you guys 🤙
Looks like you had a fun first few days lots of beautiful scenery out there !
Great video Matt! I can't wait for the next episode. I wish I would have run into you guys at Sturgis.
I-70 from Grand Junction to Golden CO is some of the most epic interstate in the USA !! The Laidlaw's crew needs to make a journey to East Tennessee, NC area!! It will BLOW your mind!!! Truly a riders paradise. Great job so far @mattlaidlaw, loving the journey!
Tuned in from Geelong Australia
So hyped for this series! I made my first trip to Sturgis this year solo from California and have only been riding for a year. It was undoubtedly something I’ll never forget.
This Channel is a MUST for every single motorcycle rider in the world!!! How inspiring and full of great vibes! It’s like another world! Thanks so much Matt!
Thank you!!!! Huge compliment man. Thanks
Let’s goooooooo. I'm still going to watch even though I wasn't invited.
Chronicles of the traveling booger...love it 😂
Lol good times had by all
I love your videos, it would have been fun to see you in Sturgis. Sturgis is a wonderful experience.
For the first time ever, I took part on a road trip from Canada to Sturgis. I started watching some of your videos in part to get me hyped up for such a journey. We visited other states afterwards, but wow I got to experience the I-70 west. From Denver to Grand Junction. It was amazing, easily the highlight of my trip. It was absolutely gorgeous. On a '23 FatBob /FXFBS no less, 4800 mile round trip on its first go.
We just love the music you pick. Awesome how you guys helping that lady out.
Man I was supposed to go to sturgis this year! But about 4 months before sturgis, I had a narly car accident that almost paralyzed me from neck down. But I’m fully recovered now and riding my motorcycle. I’m so thankful to be where I’m at because I couldn’t imagine neve walking again for riding my motorcycle! Life is a trip but it’s how you handle mentally n physically. God is good and glad you guys going to sturgis finally.
Matt I don’t if you remember but I met you in Blythe ca when you was goin to tombstone with 2lanelife guys! Hope all is well brother!
Glad you guys got the chance to make the trip, 120 is brutal!! I have made the trip 4 times; I keep saying it's enough, but I get the bug every couple of years to do it again.
Once again THANK YOU Matt & team for the adventure 👍
Awesome video as always guys going to enjoy the rest I’m sure
Most excellent footage, Matt and crew. I pretty much did the same trip in the middle of July, but headed north out of Rifle, Meeker then past Steamboat Springs, ending up in Laramie, WY, for the night. Lots, and lots, and lots of good two lane road stuff. You definitely got to see some of the best stuff in Colorado. Your editing, choice of music and footage, brings back so many memories for me.
Great production value on all your vids from the ride reviews to these road trips. I always look forward to your uploads. Having grown up in Sturgis in the 70s and 80s I hope you all enjoyed the Black Hills and the rally. I will refrain from commenting on that until your next uploads. My current state is CO which I'm glad you passed through. The rides in both states are very similar and both spectacular. You road many of the same highways I have been on for several years now. As much as I-70 has good views, the Rockies have so many awesome highways full of mind bending views. You really should schedule another trip someday just focusing on CO. You got a taste...now get the full experience! I'd be happy to ride with you all if ever you make it. (and don't sweat that gravel experience...I've gotten caught on my Limited in gravel too! lol)
The 70 up from Glenwood Springs up the mountain is one of my favorite high speed roads
Another awesome ride video. Can’t wait to get my bike back. ….
GREAT VIDEO!! LOVE THE CHILL VIBE AND COMMENTARY
Andrew has lost a good deal of weight good for him keep ridding guys
I love the historical lesson, the fitting music and awesome narration. And well, yeah the bikes and the ride footage to! Keep up the good work guys!
What a great job you did with this video!
The views, the bikes, the interactions, Wow,
fun to watch and to live vicariously through your ride.
Thanks for sharing!
Can't wait to see you meet up with M$B !
This looks like a solid group of guys to make the trip Matt man look like a hell of a time the ups and downs what it’s all about 🤙👊
Entertaining and educating!!! I refeel the whole trip, have to watch again, right away.
Great video Matt! Love your long format content!
Love the tunes in the video!! Super chill vibe.
Very Kewl, Matt! Epic vid as is usual. I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode!
This is one of the best UA-cam Videos on UA-cam. Reminds me a little of the movie Easy Rider; except without the crime. Great job!
Absolutely brilliant. Thankyou for a great watch Matt👍New Zealand viewer👍
What a great series just watched all 6 episodes!!
Have to say I was really hooked in this type of video!

These trip videos are my favorites. Reminds me of Long Way series (Round, Down, Up). Looking forward to the next one 😀
That’s a huge compliment. Those are the ultimate MC travel documentaries.
Yes, Stefan is a smart, respectful, witty, friendly, guy. And a huge Harley enthusiast. He was a lot of fun on the trip.
Another incredible video guys. On the oil blowing out of the air cleaner. Go with an external breather/catch can set up. Cleaner air for your intake and NO MORE MESS. Thanks again for the great footage. Ride safe everyone!!!
