About the name of Britain, I'm not sure it's named after Britannia (and I can't find any solid reference to Britannia being an original Roman Godess, but was a later creation to personify their new Roman Province, and was then enhanced more as creation of later british people to personify the Island. Certainly named after the island though, not visa versa). It's actually a Celtic word, originally it would have been Pritani, which the greeks heard as Prittenike. The Romans in turn heard Brittenike, or simply Britainnia.
Interesting fact about Becket - the very end of Canterbury Cathedral, a beautiful small chapel with some amazing windows is called the "Corona". It has nothing to do with the lovely sun rays it can produce, it's quite simply latin for "Crown" - as in the Crown (top of the head) of Becket that was cut off by a Knight's sword and supposedly rolled and rested in this part of the Cathedral.
Great video, just one thing....the first picture you pointed out is in fact a Queen's guard, now Kings Guard. Beefeaters have a different uniform and are stationed at The Tower of London.

Love this video! I am from Sheffield and can confirm, there are a lot of trees!
Excellent video, however I feel I should point out your book neglected to mention Manchester, which is bigger than Liverpool
Your pronunciations are fantastic, thank you for making the effort. I know that some of them are a bit tricky for Americans, but you nailed it.
Very good video 😎 I noticed the uk people seem to quite friendly and helpful 😎
Not true, we were lulling you into a false sense of security. We are actually quite horrible.
