Egypt!!!! One of my earliest childhood obsessions was the greek and egyptian gods, and one of the best Assasins Creed Games AC:Origins takes place in Ptolemaic egypt and its so freaking gorgeous, loved the video
1:25 This is Bir Tawil, the other thing seems to me to just be a little intricacy along a mostly straight border. It is claimed by neither country because of colonial history. Under British rule, the border was first completely straight along the 22nd parallel, but then they gave the big triangle which borders the Red Sea to Sudan and Bir Tawil to Egypt. Both countries want the big triangle though, so Sudan cannot request Bir Tawil as that would mean going back to a straight frontier which is not great for them (legally the territorial status quo is on their side, even though Egypt administers the region anyway). However Egypt wants this exact straight border to be put in place again, so they don't want Bir Tawil which is past the line (even though it's technically theirs) for consistency reasons once again.

Small correction: The Sassanids succeeded the Parthians. The Achaemenids were already long gone by the time they took over.
