Hi 🩵 I'm just a f2p player but I know once you activated the membership then you can earned your membership reward : additional offline rewards, daily small bag reward & ad-free reward. If you mean about monthly VIP, where you can get companion, you can purchase it separately because it's like monthly subscriber. Also there is a premium pass (cost like membership) that separated from membership.
