I have a CS Drop Forged Survivalist for about €90,-- Now, I really like the looks of Esee6 a lot, but they cost more than 2 times the price, about €220,-- over here. @@navigator1372 I am about to order a 6. I'm still trying to decide- original (kinda) flat micarta scales or 3D. I have a 5, scales don't bother me BUT the rounder ones on my Junglas feel way better. Hard call.
@@Ten_Mil_Will i got the dark earth with micarta. Its alot lighter when you get it. The pics are deceptive. Id get the 3d handles. The flat handles are just that FLAT.It gives the knife a weird feel. If you get the 3d handles with the black coated blade and brown handle then they are micarta. All the other 3d handles ive seen are g10. Im partial to the becker handles which to me are awesome ergonomically but are plastic so the 3d handles appeal to me. I just wish they had 3d micarta for the dark earth and desert tan but its g10 which is a bit better but doesnt have the cooler look
Just break the damn branches, I’ve honestly never understood why guys use there knife as a axe. It’s a cutting tool.. use it for food prep , detail work, bush craft type stuff. It’s why a little knife will always be relevant.
That old dude doesn’t know what’s going on… tried to feather wood with a junglas at the most used part of the edge instead of choking up on it and make feathers with the sharper edge- and then he tried sparking a ferro rod with the junglas actual edge.. idk. He’s not allowed to touch my knives 😂 he better bring his own toys.

Ypu sure the scales on that ESEE 6 are micarta? They really look like the G10 scales from TKC.

Ill be ordering one with the 3d handles. Being a lover if becker ergonomics tends to make me hate the FLAT esee handles. Ill return the micarta one
