I'm sure they'll let him develop his skills before he's properly pushed.
A small startup company like WPCW survives on good will, and there's nothing to kill good will like doing something the fans don't want just because of favoritism.

your last video really inspired me to try something new in my life. I thought if this guy can go through some rigorous training in wrestling then maybe I can start hitting the gym. I was nervous walking in there all out of shape and not knowing what the hell to do, but then I remembered that beginnings are supposed to be awkward and confusing. just thanks man. I know its corny but watching you try your damdest to achieve your goal is helping with mine.

You might be able to catch some videos of matches on UA-cam or Dailymotion. I would recommend Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles at Wrestle Kingdom 10, Nakamura vs. Kota Ibushi from WK 9 or KENTA vs. Naomichi Marufuji for the GHC Heavyweight Championship in 2006. All three of those were on UA-cam last I checked.
If you're looking for a more extensive back catalogue, as well as live New Japan events and if you're willing to part with $9.99 a month, NJPW world is the place for you. It's like WWE Network, but in Japanese and I'm not sure if they offer in English.

Simon, I love this series you are doing and wish you the best on your journey. When you do your other videos (Such as the "Why?" series) I find them hard to watch with the way you deliver them and find myself turning them off halfway through. I don't know whether that is your "persona" for those videos, but when you are more genuine (like in this series, or on commentary for WCPW) I enjoy everything you have to talk about. /maybe something to consider for future videos? Good luck with the rest of the Pro Wrestling Journey!

The reward at the end of training when you here your gimmick being called over the P.A. and you rush out to the ring is awesome.

Al Snow's school sounds like they challenge the students, but understand they are customers. Some schools are more interested in just making things unpleasant to harden students and weed out people. A school's responsibility is to put each student in the best place to improve. The industry is how to weed out people that are not good wrestlers. People with little talent usually don't succeed, but the better schools realize students pay to learn new skills and reinforce strengths. Simon's attitude is fantastic as he is excited to push himself to improve each week. This is a hell of a journey and will be incredible to watch. I'm rooting for Simon.

Simon, I completely get the hard but good part. When you really enjoy something and have that clear goal in your head, it doesn't matter how tough the journey is or even if you'll reach the final goal eventually, you will enjoy every single step, every single milestone, it doesn't matter how small or big it is. Passion makes everything way more enjoyable, and it looks like you have a lot of it :)
