I thought it said "Personal Massage" and the video was disappointing.
That's a very different film...
I'm so happy for Simon that Al Snow has a high interest in him
I am so proud of you, Simon!! You're geniune attitude to chasing dreams is infectious. Thanks for the love, friend. Same back to you!
Simon, I am so proud of you. Your journey to becoming a professional wrestler is truly inspiring, and the personal message from Al Snow is great and I'm glad it's extra motivation. You show genuine passion in everything you share with the academy, while being realistic in not being able to predict the future, but I genuinely believe you will go the whole way. You have a glow about you every time you talk about it, there is no question that you love it so far. I sincerely look forward to your debut, wherever it may be. Whether it's WWE, TNA, WCPW, RoH, NJPW, Lucha Underground, wherever, I will fly from Alabama to wherever it may be to be sure to see your first match. Here's to your upcoming pro wrestler career.
Well it's good to see that Ryback has started training he was really clumsy in the ring.
It seems like old Jokes will never die
yeah I agree, his Father Goldberg would be proud too
+Storm What is old may never die!
Thank you Simon for making these my dude. You and Jon Hendry have kind of reconfirmed my desire to try in get into the professional wrestling business. Continue making these man and I truly hope that you make it dude!
Al Snow looks SOOOOOO Much more professional then I ever thought he would ever be when I watched him as a kid.
I hope you make it to WWE, Simon.
WCPW* :)
no stay with wcpw
Simon vs Big Damo for the WCPW Title
+baseupp12 exactly
This is quickly becoming my favourite WhatCulture Series!
I started training early June and can relate to everything you're saying, don't know about you but wrestling is a lot more difficult than I first imagined. Little things such as bumps, ring awareness, strength, cardio etc is something that isn't thought about much but when you actually have to do it, the appreciation for the things that pro wrestlers do is a lot greater, as they make it look so easy. keep up the videos 👍👍
That's so nice! Congrats Simon! Genuinely inspired by your efforts, and really hope you can take this as far as you want to!
what do we want? head
what do we need. head!
when do we want it.... head
When do we want it? head!
No Crispin Wah
thats one word
This is probably my favourite series on the web right now. Thanks for making them.
I love that you're sharing this journey with us... I do have that thing in my belly, I think... but at 42, I think the boat has left the pier. That just means that I'm enjoying your journey even more vicariously than I would have when I was younger.
Classy message from Al Snow, really nice. Keep up the great work Simon! Looking forward to seeing you progress further in September!
I'm not sure you'll read this, Simon, let alone take time to read this entire paragraph, but you doing these videos has been incredibly inspiring for me to watch. When I was a kid in early elementary school watching the Hardy Boyz, my friends and I used to emulate them on ladders, couches, and trampolines and say we wanted to be like them. It was horrible, and dangerous, and made some of the most amazing memories I have. When the original draft happened, I didn't understand it or why my favorite teams and best friends were getting split up. So much was changing for me at that age that I didn't want my favorite thing in the world (besides Pokemon maybe) to change too, so I abandoned it completely by late 2003/early 2004 (plus I legitimately thought John Cena ruined wrestling with his thuganomics gimmick, but looking back I realize that was the good part of his career).
Long story short, I got out of the whole entire thing until late 2014, where I slowly eased back into learning the current stories and wrestlers involved. While watching the opening ladder match of WM31 (the first and only one I had seen in real time since and besides X8), a friend and I joked about how next year we were gonna be there which led to a whole "since we can't afford to watch, let's just wrestle in it" scenario. Well all of those childhood memories of diving off of ladders in my backyard or doing Swanton bombs and feeling my hair scrape against the trampoline came rushing back, and I really haven't stopped thinking about the "what if" of the whole thing since that night when Seth Rollins cashed in. I'm 24 now, and have been thinking about this for a year and a half, but one of your videos really hit me when you said something along the lines what you said in this video that had the same effect "if it doesn't work out, just check the box and move on."
I'm legitimately considering moving from WI to... well that's my problem at this point. Now that I have decided I need to do this for the same reasons you said you were doing it, I can't pull the trigger on a school. The logistics are so much to handle while making sure I'll be able to have enough employment to fund my goals. But the point, anyways, is that you've truly inspired me, Simon, to make sure I don't let this remain a "what if..." scenario by the time I'm physically unable to do it. So thank you for that. Very much.
Keep up the amazing work Simon, I've really enjoyed your series so far and am looking forward to seeing you grow into the awesome wrestler you've got the potential to be
Miller is the realist guy in the room.
How I doin' ?
+Bobby Roode glorious you
Keep up the great work Simon.
Dropping the classic Warrior line at the end was a nice touch.
Always believe!
Hey man, can I just say that your videos have given me more motivation to continue my training to be a pro wrestler. I injured my foot one month after my debut match here in New Zealand (Maniacs United), and its been really hard to start back at square one. But the way you talk about training really reminded me of myself when I started a year ago. Just wanted to say big thanks for helping me stay motivated and I hope that your training will pay off!!!
Thanks for keep putting out these videos Simon. Good luck in September!
I've just started to train to become a professional wrestler and making some videos very similar to this... Ironically my trainer wrestles for wcpw as well as other promotions across the UK, who'd of thought! Keep going pal my body feel like it's been in a car wreck but I love it 💪
simon please do more why videos and list videos ... maybe tack over thmbs up and down
Simon please don't. Your videos are grating and many people like Nintendo games even with your opinions of those people.
implying he said he's going to stop...
Simon, thank you for living my dream, brother. I might see about training after watching this series. It has really inspired me. Can't thank you enough.
I love these videos! Keep up the great work and the hard training.
Go Simon Go! If I ever got some encouragement like that from Al snow, I wood be running up and down the streets cuz this means u got this bro!!! Simon Miller for WWE! Never give up, never surrender
+WhatCulture Wrestling We love you Miller - I may only be 17 but this has to be the most motivating and fascinating story I've heard in a very long time.
we want Simon as the No. 1 contender for the WCPW championship!!!
Awesome series, great little documentary, keep it up Simon 😊
Nice work simon and my god you are getting bloody huge mate, good luck with it bro!
I wish you nothing but the best of luck Simon. I completely relate to what you are saying. I tried out for a Wrestling Promotion over a year ago through a try out, and I decided that the pro wrestling gig was not for me. I had other priorities in life that out weighed that dream. But like you said, all I can do is cross it off the list and say that I tried. I hope that you continue to train and follow your dream, and who knows, you might even make it to the WWE.
Love these videos, living my dream for me!
I like this guy. He's like a 'real' person. He doesn't feel fake or like it's a persona.
Keep up the good work Simon, see you on my tv in a couple of years!
Damn love these videos, Simon seems so real and nice.
If one day I wake up to see WWE has signed this guy, I will feel proud for some reason to have been watching these videos from the start.
Goodluck bro. I'll be cheering you on from here
It's impossible to dislike Simon Miller. I hope his journey goes well for him. Here's hoping we'll one day see him in a WCPW ring!
In two weeks i go in for my tryout at PWX in Pittsburgh, PA, USA where Kurt Angle trained. I've training as much as I can so that I can get in. Again, ty for this series, its really informative and cool to see someone else going through this.
I had my first wrestling session last Sunday and it was amazing, I loved it! Learnt to take the first bumps, first basic holds and how to move around the ring. Obviously I was in pain the next day but still managed to go gym because as a professional wrestler or future pro wrestler you get no days off, have to be on top of your game so why not start now :D can't wait for my session tomorrow! I wish I would have them more often than once a week, but its beter than nothing still :D
This is great man. I plan on trying to become a pro wrestler myself. This is so inspiring
1 year from now these are gonna be stored in history as you become the new WCPW champion. I believe in Miller time.
I love these vids keep them coming :)
Brother Simon......
....I knew you'd come...
Good luck simon !! One if my favs on whatculture !!
fucking love this series! Simon is so down to earth! Nxt soon man
hi Simon my name is Luke Robinson. I have watched wrestling ever since I was a little boy. can't wait to see you in the wwe some day man!! I would love to become a wrestler some day. I have a stomach issue where I can't take heavy shots to it. I've been that way ever since I was born. still I have a passion for the sport. your down on the mat and you hear the crowed cheering you on. that's what I would feed on is the crowd!
Simon just seems like the sweetest dude
That's an awesome intro from Al Snow. Like, holy crap!
Not trying to be a wrestler, but I started my journey to be a boxer at a fairly late age as well. Stick with it Simon. Pulling for you.
Simon you must succeed. I have to see you hold that WCPW championship at least once.
Last time I was this early, Simon was still on commentary on Loaded.
Keep it going! Simon is geninue with what he is saying.
Glad to see the training is going well so far.
Most important advice I can give at the moment, and this is to anyone who wants to be a professional wrestler, is to be mindful when doing holds/submissions. Most of them are just flashy and don't actually have any painful applicability in the real world, but some can lead to serious injury. A fellow performed a Single Legged Boston Crab on me and one slip up led to too much force going into pulling back and now one of my legs is basically just for show.
My case is a strange one as the handful of doctors I've gone to can't figure out why my leg didn't heal, but it doesn't mean other mistakes won't lead to similar happenings. There's enough videos on WhatCulture detailing this kind of stuff to show that it isn't something you can just be care free with. You all gotta be careful with this stuff.
Rebook Zack Ryders United States Championship run.
But holy shit! Al fucking Snow! That's amazing. Simon you are keeping my dream alive. thank you.
great video. keep up the good work.
I'm going to Glasgow comic con on Sunday. I'm tempted to meet Al Snow and mention you Simon haha :)
I see him making it far in his goal to make it to the big leagues!
Miller mania running wild brother!!
Simon seems such a sound bloke, I wish him the best.
Keep up the Good work, Mate
Good luck on your journey Simon
I'm currently training to become a Pro Wrestler, and it's honestly a lot harder than what people first think. It's not 'play fighting'. Piecing together 5 minutes of mat-work (without communicating) today was really difficult, but in the end I got it, and it's little things like that that keep you motivated. If you're thinking of doing it, do it.
I love Al Snow. Absolute class act.
the video at the beginning gives me warm fuzzies
Keep going Simon. Future WCPW and WWE Champion in the making :)
Simon you got this
Simon Miller is my hero.
I'm not training to be a wrestler, but one of my series' is a claymation show called PHW (Pin Head Wrestling,) I watch a lot of wrestling and what culture as I am a wrestling fan and I tell my fiance it's for research purposes. You are doing a great job, and are one of my favorites on this channel. I wish you all the best in the future and hope to see you debut on some wrestling outlet soon.
Simon is the most relatable guy on whatculture
great video
You didn't list it, but Al Snow's heel work in TNA is brilliant right now
Go Simon!
Two finishers
The afterburner - an arm hooked Impaler ddt
Millers maestro - a triangle choke similar to braun strowman's choke hold but grounded
Simon Miller keep on wrestling could possibly be a future wcpw champion 🤔🤔👏👏
Simon Miller the ultimate baby face of WhatCulture
What culture ur awesome carry on being the best
hope you do great wcpw champion in the making
"your winner and new WCPW champion, Simon Miller"
this is gonna be a great storyline for WM38
Good luck bro ;)
I support you Simon
keep it up simon👍👍👍👍
Good Luck!
"well if I can do it" but have you seen your fukn muscles tho? you've got a serious headstart
I want to become a wrestler too, good luck Simon
l liked these videos because it didn't show what was happening l enjoyed just hearing you talk about it because hearing about is a lt more interesting
You certainly have a leg up. Most of us, my age...... we knew of a "school". The one we all know of. The one that churned out barely trained athletes, who in turn owed said ahem "trainer" a lot of our personal gain for a number of years. Unlike our school which was a "Factory"...... you at least have a guy who made it, and who understands it, loves it, lives it, and respects it. This is huge in the types of wrestlers a "school", "trainer", or "factory" puts out. Good fortune on your journey. May it bring you firmly into the biz that only us freaks of the workplace can hang with.
good luck!
Wow, Al Snow seems like a cool guy.
Hey Simon, what your doing is so inspirational. I have a quick question for you though, obviously your general message is to try it and give it a go but your muscular and, I assume, very fit. I am just an average guy with average fitness etc, would you say I should maybe train up a bit in the gym before I go to a wrestling academy (I live in Leeds so probably go to that one, El Ligero trains people there!) or would you say to just go for it and learn as things happen? I hope that makes some sort of sense!
Great bant, Simon
He will be the next big thing, well, he's already big
Keep it up! I'm training as well. I can't wait to hear when you really start learning psychology: it blew my mind when I was introduced to it past the point of just shine, heat, comeback false finishes and finish. The devil is truly in the details.
Shit... One of the nicest dudes on UA-cam
Simon will be the Cena of WCPW.
