South Africa, officially the Republic of South Africa, is the southernmost country in Africa. With over 61 million people, the country is the world's 23rd most populous nation and covers an area of one million two hundred and twenty-one thousand and thirty-seven square kilometers. South Africa has three capital cities, with the executive, judicial and legislative branches of government based in Pretoria, Bloemfontein, and Cape Town respectively. About 81% of the population is Black South Africans. The remaining population consists of Africa's largest communities of Europeans who are referred to as White South Africans, Asian as Indian South Africans and Chinese South Africans, and Multiracial as Coloured South Africans ancestry.
South Africa is the leading economy in Africa by most metrics and it’s home to the highest net worth individuals, and highest levels of total wealth held in Africa.
However, there are a few areas where South Africa is falling to the sidelines.
According to south Africa Cities Network, cities in South Africa rely on a mix of grants and their revenue sources to fund constitutionally mandated expenditure responsibilities.
Since 20 15, city revenues have been growing at varying rates, with the trend showing actual city revenues improving compared to budgets, although the group noted that cities make very different assumptions about rates of growth going forward.
Africa’s top wealth owner is South Africa, holding a total of 552 billion U.S dollars in wealth. The country is home to 40,400 dollar millionaires this includes 2,130 multimillionaires, 94 centi millionaires, and 5 billionaires
Recently, total actual revenue has improved at an average annual rate of 5.7% but the average revenue growth rates differed considerably among cities.

I would like to comment on some inaccuracies in the video
1. Three of the"cities" listed ("Garden Route", "Whale Coast" and "Sunshine coast" are not cities but are unofficial names of regions, while Paarl, Fransch Hoek and Stellenbosch are three towns in the Western Cape winelands region, none of which ranks as a city on it's own. Ekuhuleni technically ranks as a city, since it is an Urban Municipality, but it is part of a larger city, the Johannesburg-Pretotia conservation.
2 Two of the city names, Kimberley and Ekuheleni were misspelt (the latter was both misspelt and mispronounced) and several South African place names, such a Bloemfontein, Modderfontein, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, Knysna, Umhlanga, Magaliesberg and Apies River were mispronounced.as were other South African words such as "Boer".
I know that South African place names, derived from Dutch, Afrikaans Khoisan and Bantu languages are somewhat difficult for an English-speaker to pronounce, but the first thing one would expect someone making a documentary about a country to do is to learn the correct pronunciation of the place names.
3. Another contributor pointed out the mismatch between the pictures being shown and the places being discussed. As he mentioned, the great majority of the pictures shown under "Johannesburg" were actually of Capr Town. Some pictures of Cape Town / Cape Peninsula coastlines were also included in the "Garden Route" section, as was a picture of Port Elizabeth, which few South Africans consider part of the Garden Route. And a number of the pictures used in the section on the "Sunshine Coast" of Eastern Cape province actually show the "Sun City" resort in Northwest province, hundreds of miles away.
Nice views of South Africa, but a very poor effort when it comes to accuracy.
Did you check anything with anyone familiar with South Africa before publishing it for the general misinformation of the viewing public?
Read "conurbation", not "conservation" (damned spelling checker)
Your video contains a lot of inaccuracies. It is clear that you got your information from wikipedia. A more realistic list will include 1. Johannesburg, 2. Cape Town, 3. Durban, 4. Pretoria, 5. Port Elizabeth, 6. Bloemfontein, 7. East London, 8. Pietermaritzburg, thereafter, there are cities such like Rustenburg, Polokwane, Kimberley, Nelspruit, George that can be considered. Ekurhuleni is not a single city, its a big metropolitan municipality with various cities like Germiston, Kempton Park, Springs, Boksburg, or Benoni.
Do your research properly. The information together with the pics are not accurate. Match the relevant Cities with the correct city names. Sun City is by the way not in the Eastern Cape but North West.
