Making My Perfect Wedding Dress 🤍✨ Part 3: REDESIGN

It's time for PART 3 of making my own wedding dress! This is a shorter part as I redesign my dress and create toile number 3. By the end of this video the design of my wedding dress is 90% complete somehow 🤯
For reference, I started working on my wedding dress back in January of this year when I chose my fabric and finally finished 5 days before my wedding in November. I have been filming all year and I can't wait to show you how I got on!
This vlog series will cover fabric, patterns, toiles, construction, design, re-design, and a small foray into corsetry! It has been the most difficult, most exciting, most inspiring creative journey and I can't wait to share it all with you. The patterns I started with were the @Tammy.Handmade Jessica and the @vikisews Ornella but by the time we get to this vlog the pattern pieces have all been significantly redrafted by me!

Looking great. I think the cowl at the front looks a tad odd though as it's just sticking out. You are very brave designing your own dress. It's a complex and stressful sew

@@bevtooth thank you! And yes, its because the duchess satin of the toile fabric is much more stiff than the final fabric, i do a final front toile in similar fabric in the next vlog to check drape ☺️
