Takes a while to load a round with it, doesn't it? It might be useful for rounds too big to lift with a hookaroon (15" or more), but they're better handled by orienting the splitter vertically. I'm skeptical. ;)
@steve-ey3rx I've got other videos showing it in action. I do believe flipping the splitter vertical is faster for splitting only. However, I like to stack directly into IBC totes straight from the splitter, I can't do that while sitting on the ground with the splitter turned vertical. The time spent picking up all the splits from the ground negates the slower lift-time (in my opinion). Also, the older I get the less and less I like getting up/down from the ground.
