1:46 to 2:30 is the most hilarious part of this clip. Those two actors, the toy store staff, were perfect for that. Lol!! Sinbad was so funny as the sympathetic villan in this movie. I remember the days of having to get to the store to buy whatever was hot at Christmas time ASAP...that was before online shopping, of course. I miss how fun it was Christmas shopping and looking at decorations. It's a little different now that so many malls are closing. 😢
yup soon enough malls aren't even gonna exist anymore just think if online shopping had existed in Jingle All The Way, Arnold never woulda got his GMC Suburban stripped down. What's also sad is how they're won't be anymore chaotic fights for da season's hottest selling toy man I wish I coulda jumped into one of those just for fun.
Where have you guys been? I have something that belongs to you's only the hottest selling "Never seen on TV." catchphrase ever. Duh. But you know what? I got plenty of i have something that belongs to you's faithful saber tooth tiger victory is mine.
Yep when it first came out during the Holiday Season, and you try to get it at the last minute you go to a Walmart and ask. You: "Do you have a PS5 for sale?" Customer Service: "haha what..." You: "A PS5, do you have one?" Customer Service: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I fucking love how the Mum, who's clearly resigned herself to getting a Booster, just cruelly joins in on laughing at these two as they desperately try for a Turboman.
That hit Sinbad gave Arnold was vicious, lol I couldn't stop laughing as he crashed into the display of booster dolls, further cementing that Booster was a hated and deplorable side kick
This movie is in my top 5 for Xmas movies to watch with my kids .a fun movie to enjoy with kids and family .a movie I love till this day every Xmas I put this movie it's mandatory for me .I'm 31 years old I was born in 1993 I remember this childhood movie definitely
I use to work at Hallmark and the way the store clerks are laughing when they ask for a turbo man is the same way my co workers and I reacted when people asked us if we had the Olaf from Frozen Ornament in 2014.
I used to work in a hallmark factory packing that cheap stuff into boxes. They gave them away to all the employees working there every Xmas. Funny how all that comes full circle.
I love how Myron keeps physically turning Howard around whenever he tries to look away and ignore him. Myron is the kind of guy who always has something to say, and he doesn’t care if you don’t want to hear it lol.
@Skeeter Valentine And twice as hard when sleepy Joe got in, man's a walking disaster, that is if he can even keep himself from falling face first every time he ascends a staircase or goes on a bike ride 😂
"Where have you guys been? Scooby Doo's only the hottest selling Hanna Barbera toy ever duh! But you know what we have plenty of Scooby Doo's faithful nephew Scrappy!"
Some of these toys seen in the background gotta be worth a lot of money now considering those are hard to come by these day and extremely rare. As a toy collector myself I know and I watch this particular clip very carefully sometimes at slow speeds just to see what is there.
They actually aren't worth much anymore because Marvel and DC have ruined their properties. Apparently you can get an entire set of toy biz marvel figures mint in the package for like $100 now.
This movie still feels like Arnold's latest movie to me, like it came out only recently, even though it is almost 29 years old now. I actually thought it was closer to the end of the 90s, instead of being in the middle of it.
“Working 24/7 delivering mail to make an alimony payment to a woman who slept with everyone at the post office but me!” He shouldn’t have to give her anything, given the fact that she cheated on him during their marriage. Where there’s proof of adultery, should be what makes the one cheated on eligible to not have to pay the unfaithful any alimony. My oldest brother cheated on his wife so many times, yet he’s blinded her with his lies, and yet she found the strength to force him and I don’t blame her. Now, he’s continuing to pay her the alimony for his adultery. I believe it just sucks being him.
The joke and social commentary in this movie is spot on. I have no idea why people dislike it. Probably most of them are american who got butthurt because the movie shows how dumb their black friday and consumerism culture actually is.
1:46-2:15 When seeing this movie plenty of times as a kid on this particular scene, I never understood why people were laughing at Howard and Myron when they were just asking for a Turboman action figure.
Ah, so I'm guessing this is from the Family Fun Edition as 3:31-4:39 is one of a few scenes that was cut from the original release. Pity that part was originally cut as that's Yeardley Smith (Lisa Simpson).
1:46, 1:59, 2:14 and 2:22 Geez, those clerks are really immature idiots! I oughta slug them in the face and ask them if this is some kind of trick! (I slug both clerks in the face.) Me: Is this some kind of trick?! Clerks: Yes... Me: I thought so. Now... let me ask this: are there any Turboman dolls in the back? Clerk 1: Yes. We have 10 more in the back. Howard: Good. Myron: Thanks. Clerk 2: Follow us. (The clerks take us to the back of the store and give us our Turboman dolls.) Clerk 1: That'll be $24.99. (We pay our money to the clerks and leave.) 3:46 And Howard didn't get to read the label, that said "booster" above the turboman title on the top of that *plastic doll box* in that bag carried by that lady?🤨😄
Arguably the funniest side character ever. Every scene he’s in is gold 🤣
Ok seeing how crazy Sinbad is at the beginning of this clip I can kinda understand why he’d eventually go full blown supervillain at the end
