FEUD: Bette and Joan, the first installment of the new FX anthology series from Ryan Murphy, tells the story of the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during their collaboration on the Academy Award®-nominated thriller What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, and well after the cameras stopped rolling. The series explores how the two women endured ageism, sexism, and misogyny while struggling to hang on to success and fame in the twilight of their careers.
In addition to Academy Award winners Lange and Sarandon, the cast includes Alfred Molina as the film’s director Robert Aldrich, Stanley Tucci as studio titan Jack Warner, Judy Davis as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, Jackie Hoffman as Crawford’s housekeeper Mamacita, and Alison Wright as Aldrich’s assistant Pauline.
Notable guest stars include Dominic Burgess as Crawford and Davis’ co-star Victor Buono, Catherine Zeta-Jones as film star Olivia de Havilland, Sarah Paulson as Geraldine Page, Kathy Bates as Joan Blondell and Kiernan Shipka as B.D., Bette Davis’ daughter.
FEUD: Bette and Joan is created by Ryan Murphy and Jaffe Cohen & Michael Zam. Ryan Murphy serves as Executive Producer along with Executive Producers Dede Gardner of Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, Tim Minear and Alexis Martin Woodall. The series is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios.

This show needs a Season 2 following another famous Hollywood feud!

      What feud are you suggesting?

@@jdpatrick1106 There's so many of them! I'd have said Joan Fontaine and Olivia De Havilland but that was before I knew that Olivia De Havilland actually did sue the makers of Feud.
Or maybe Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich.

Props to Ryan Murphy for creating this initiative. Giving those the opportunity where they might not otherwise have one is a really smart way to get new voices out there. I loved Feud and can't wait to see what future seasons bring.

Pauline should have given the script to Bette instead because she's respects talent and puts the work before anything else.

Pauline identifies with Joan and probably like most, fell for Joan's gentility. But there is something for raw honesty.

Pauline never existed...total made up bull

I know she’s not a real person, but from a story perspective it would kind sense

The point, they’re telling a story and I would have been great if we get to see a little more of her. The entire show is not a documentary, so it doesn’t have to be completely accurate but of course there’s always some purest loser out to spoil people’s good times.

Alfred Molina & Alison Wright. Those British actors are far better at speaking in an American accent than American actors doing a British accent.

There's others who talk about a similar side to Joan but it was usually only directed at those she didn't like

The "Pauline" actress has an accent that is British?

Yes, I was shocked when I first heard it. I've known about Catherine Zeta-Jones (Wales), Alfred Molina (England) and Judy Davis (Australia) for years, but it was a surprise to hear Alison Wright with a British accent. Also, Jackie Hoffman is as American as Apple pie.
