My mom always just did tuna and Mayo mixed with like salt and pepper and then a slice of Kraft cheese on hamburger buns and stuck them in the oven I think for 20 minutes or until the the cheese is melted, but I remember it's when you can smell them that's when they're done
I can never get the cheese to ooze like i see in these videos. The cheese is usually barely heated i'm thinking i need to put a top on the pan to get it that way. My pan didn't come with a top but i have a stock pot with a cover that should work.
I really prefer 'simple', when it comes to tuna, but I'd probably eat yours, if it came down to it. How would I make one? Tuna and mayo, salt and pepper, and maybe some pickle, or alfalfa sprouts for crunch and contrast, and either cheddar or pepper jack cheese. Lays potato chips are great on the side, and of course some people add them to the sandwich. As much as I love wheat bread, I think white bread works better for tuna (because of the mild taste). Open face style or sandwich style is okay, either way. And what to drink? I'll have a Coke.
It's weird you say that, because I had the exact same thought while looking at the thumbnail before I clicked... I've never had bacon on a tuna melt before, but I'd give it a whirl and see if it spins. If it doesn't work, it'll be the first time bacon didn't make something better.
Anybody in the chat and tell me what’s the correct measurement for a pinch? 👀😂 I’m just regular down south cook with show ingredients that you have in your cabinet. Make miracles happen with spaghetti or any type of rice or pasta, chicken and beef not altogether but you get what I’m saying…. So I decided this year I’m going to listen to people on UA-cam and follow recipes…. But I’m a need to work with me. I need you to work with me. That means please stop telling me a “pinch”…I need to know what a pinch is. Now sis did follow up with season two taste.😎😎🍹 so I’m a give her good recovery no fumbles. Just tell me what a pinch is? We’ll be squared up. Especially since Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming. My house is under construction cause I almost burnt the kitchen down while I’m sleeping, but thanks to our good Lord… he has decided another day of life chiiiileee… but we’re in a Airbnb so trying to cook in somebody else’s kitchen with the Airbnb pots and pans, honey it’s not the move… certainly not for Christmas with my sweet potato casserole my broccoli cheese and rice casserole, rice or dirty rice as we call it down south in the ham… how am I supposed to do the Airbnb?👀🤣 … everybody came made sweet potato pie, and I like my sweet potato pie and my pecan pie and my peach cobbler and my cake made in my KitchenAid mixer … so what I’m gonna do is go to everybody else’s house and eat 🫣👀🤗no I’m a be grateful. Never had a tuna melt so thank you for showing how.
