After watching this video, Tuna Salad was what was for lunch! Old school style, but there’s a can of Cannellini beans in the pantry, calling my name. Thanks again, Nicole!
One of my favorite childhood summer meals was my mom's tuna salad & her macaroni salad. We would eat outside since we didn't have A/C. Always had mint ice tea to drink!
My grandma would combine the pasta in her tuna salad we just called it pasta tuna salad...no bread or crackers needed., just a fork. Yum, sooo good!😂😂😂😂😂
Another tuna pasta salad lover here! Canned tuna, cooked macaroni, mayo, minced onion, onion powder, salt and pepper… but wait, there’s more! Chopped green pimento stuffed olives!!! Yum Yum!!!
Love love love canned tuna. Just had it in fact!!! I love white albacore but light is good too. Green onion, bread and butter pickle, garlic powder, onion powder, old bay, lemon juice, hellmans...fresh ground pepper....OMG...delish. I use wasa crisp breads... TOSTADO SHELL? GENIUS!!! Gonna use!!
The relish is debatable, however for me, NO to sweet relish! ONLY dill relish! Of course it’s personal preference. It’s kinda like Mayo or miracle whip…again personal preference but I prefer Mayo.
I'm back again after rewatching this video. When you made the last sandwich, I was reminded of a little place I found close to work. I think it was called The Cutting Board. What was so special about their sandwiches was the fresh bread they baked every day. Their tuna sandwich was very simple, sliced fresh bread with a tuna, Mayo combination topped with lettuce and tomato. It was the best tuna sandwich I had ever eaten!😘 There was nothing pretentious about it, it was just simple ingredients and all of it was fresh! This place had lots of other sandwiches but after eating the tuna one, I never bothered to try any others. In fact, I often craved this sandwich and I would have to get theirs immediately! Luckily they were just across the parking lot from where I worked! I often walked over there on my lunch break to enjoy another tuna sandwich! I did try making this sandwich at home. I had fresh bread (although not fresh baked) and mixed the tuna with mayo and topped it with lettuce and tomato. It was very good. Not as wonderful as theirs but better than I had ever made. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful recipes!🥰
I am used to making it with the Miracle Whip, but I saw 👀 she used a yellow top. 😅. So, I went to the store to get a yellow top one and landed on Dukes mayonnaise. I tried this and its good. This is the second recipe, I like from you! I just discovered you two days ago and made your Chipotle chicken and now this Tuna! Girl, that Chipotle chicken was the best 🤤
Nothing like old school tuna with sweet pickles, celery and mayo. Serve on toasted sour dough bread. I add a few pecans or cranberries sometime. Lay's potato chips on the side. Yummy. Thanks Nicole.
Nicole, you know when our generation was growing up, it was only tuna, sweet relish, and mayo (or miracle whip). This is that made for television tuna 😘
Every one of us has a different classic Mom’s tuna salad sandwich. No onions (Mom hated raw onion), no egg, sweet pickle relish. Chips on the side. Perfect for us.
I love the Italian one,and old school tuna, the way my mom fixed it❤.my mouth is watering,I'm fixing this tonight. Going to the store for dill relish,my fave. Thank you,I love to watch your videos you make everything sound and look good😊
I'm not Italian, but you make me wanna be!!! Seriously, I love when you talk about your family because they sound a lot like mine. Tuna is one of my favorites, forever, just like you. Thanks for doing this video!
These all look delish! For moms tuna i can never decide sweet or dill relish so i just use both! And the egg sets it off, i use 1 egg per can of tuna 🎉 😊
Tuna, boiled eggs and sweet pickles is the easiest tuna salad I have ever seen. I add some of the pickle juice as well, I can't stand mayonnaise. Not only does it taste great but helps when I get leg cramps.
❤thank you my mouth is watering already just watching the three ways using tuna .Filipino tuna we put condense milk to balance the mayonnaise ,salt & pepper and to make it a twist as to make it like a hint of Mexican taste we put chipotle .oh so yummy 😋
Nicole, I’m with you on the relish in the traditional recipe….as a kid it was sweet relish and as an adult, I prefer dill. No egg in my recipe though. 😊 Your recipe is a little different and I’ve got to try it. Those other two look like money!! Thanks!
My dad would make classic tuna with a little of both sweet and dill relish and no egg. But he'd add some celery seed, salt, and pepper for the seasonings. My mom would make the classic tuna/macaroni salad. Both were served with tomatoes and the macaroni salad with an egg too
My fav is the smoked tuna in the pouches with mayo, salt n pepper, red wine vinegar and sliced black olives with white american cheese or sometimes I shred up some mont. jack and mix it in there :)
Hmmmm makes me wonder what that Spicy Tuna Salad would taste like substituting the Tuna with Salmon instead....Might have to try that out this weekend...
YES!!! As you’ve probably read in my comments I Hate Eggs… However, I use egg in my tuna salad… I chop it up with a knife and then use a fork to smash it up really fine… Then add it to the tuna salad mix, you can’t even see it or taste that there’s egg in it… But it adds a flavor to it that’s actually really good. I also Hate Mayo… So I use cream cheese and sour cream instead, comes out so much richer tasting… and always Sweet Relish… 👊🏼💯💙🇺🇸
I love everything about this recipe, especially the part where you use dill relish instead of sweet relish. This whole video is awesome and the recipes look fantastic. But if you ask me tuna salad has to have an egg and dill pickle in it every single time
Open, drain, a little salt n pepper...eat it out of the can. My mother would ask how I could eat it that way...this from a woman who ate sardines out of the tin. Though with mayo, chopped celery and onion on toasted rye works too.
My Mom got me took on tuna salad. My oldest son at 2 years wanted tuna salad not peanut butter ever!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 I think I Need to try the no mayo tuna salad, it looked delicious!!!
I can’t decide which one I want to make first, they all look so yummy! Probably the 2nd one because I have all the ingredients and some really good sourdough bread on hand. Off I go……..
I could eat that same no mayo tuna salad on crusty bread for my supper and be in hog heaven!! Going to make it soon. Also, thanks for the idea of putting lettuce, tomato and banana peppers on the sandwich. Banana peppers are now on my shopping list!!😂
My Favorite way to use can Tuna is with pasta olive oil, garlic, which is basically Pasta oleo alio with tuna But I also make all three types especially the Italian Tuna recipe which is most of the time,SOO DELICIOUS.
I love your recipes! I've tried quite a few and all have been good. One question I have-the red skillet you prepared the skillet lasagna in-what size is it and where can I get one. I've been looking everywhere but the ones I have found are too big for the burner
the only way I eat mine is first of all I only use solid white albacore packed in water, mayo and chopped green olives and a little squirt of lemon, that's it. and now I think I'll have a nice tuna melt on an English muffin for lunch. Mmmm good.
After draining, I wring out my tuna inside paper towels to get it extra dry. It makes it easier to flake imo and if I don’t do that my tuna salad is too watery
Those look so good and come on so easy… I do have a question… I love your shirt… strawberry fields forever..,, please share where u got it..🙏🏼 & thank you ✌️
I wish I could feel a measurable spice level from a jalapeño or a serrano but apparently I’ve burned my taste buds off and can only get it from habaneros and above. I’ll try that in this spicy version cuz it looks yummy 😋

After watching this video, Tuna Salad was what was for lunch! Old school style, but there’s a can of Cannellini beans in the pantry, calling my name. Thanks again, Nicole!

@@sonjabaker426I like it that way, too.
We'd eat in the basement during the summer because it was nice and cool down there. My dad put a fan down there to really circulate the cooler air.
Another tuna pasta salad lover here! Canned tuna, cooked macaroni, mayo, minced onion, onion powder, salt and pepper… but wait, there’s more! Chopped green pimento stuffed olives!!! Yum Yum!!!
Team dill relish everytime!
All 3 of these looked good to me!
GENIUS!!! Gonna use!!
All of those dishes are making my mouth water. Love me some tuna.
Yes dill pickles
You’re not alone Nicole, I love tuna!!
ONLY sweet relish!
The relish is debatable, however for me, NO to sweet relish! ONLY dill relish! Of course it’s personal preference. It’s kinda like Mayo or miracle whip…again personal preference but I prefer Mayo.

Lay's potato chips on the side. Yummy. Thanks Nicole.
Thank you Nicole!
All three made me drool...lol
Having tuna all week here.
Nicole, you know when our generation was growing up, it was only tuna, sweet relish, and mayo (or miracle whip). This is that made for television tuna 😘
I can’t stand miracle whip but it does go with tuna! Grew up eating them the same way
I love tuna🙏🏼😇👌👍💯🌹
Every one of us has a different classic Mom’s tuna salad sandwich. No onions (Mom hated raw onion), no egg, sweet pickle relish. Chips on the side. Perfect for us.
The 3rd tuna recipe would make a nice tuna-deviled egg. Put the tuna mix on the 1/2 hard boiled egg white.
I love the Italian one,and old school tuna, the way my mom fixed it❤.my mouth is watering,I'm fixing this tonight. Going to the store for dill relish,my fave. Thank you,I love to watch your videos you make everything sound and look good😊

I make tuna macaroni salad! Love it!
Loved, that's the way I want to do mine. And I want to do the 3 different ways. Thank you.
I think I've switched from relish to what she's using I like these ideas
Tuna, boiled eggs and sweet pickles is the easiest tuna salad I have ever seen. I add some of the pickle juice as well, I can't stand mayonnaise.
Not only does it taste great but helps when I get leg cramps.
I ❤️❤️❤️tuna.

Thanks!
I make tuna salad with diced apple, walnuts, mayo, and pepper, that’s it. The recipe was from Mr. Food! Bless his soul.
Sounds good, I think I will try that for lunch

I am a weirdo too that loves canned tuna too. I do one can albacore and one can light tuna. Yum yum!
My fav is the smoked tuna in the pouches with mayo, salt n pepper, red wine vinegar and sliced black olives with white american cheese or sometimes I shred up some mont. jack and mix it in there :)
Did you know the only brand Tuna that has extremely Low amounts of Mercury is Starkist? I only use that brand now..😉
I love Bumble Bee!

I always use albacore white tuna. Drain & rinse couple times & add lemon juice. Then add whatever want
I’m so glad you said DILl!
Open, drain, a little salt n pepper...eat it out of the can. My mother would ask how I could eat it that way...this from a woman who ate sardines out of the tin.
Though with mayo, chopped celery and onion on toasted rye works too.
Today in Texas it's going to 109 degrees. I think I will try one of these recipes.
Yum!!

Great recipes! We built the relish and the Egg for me though.❤
I prefer dill relish with tuna and sweet relish with chicken salad. I also put apple in tuna.

Love me a good tuna sandwich ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!
I'm a miracle whip person myself. Mayo is just not good to me. I can't wait to make that Italian one. SWEET RELISH :)
I love your recipes! I've tried quite a few and all have been good. One question I have-the red skillet you prepared the skillet lasagna in-what size is it and where can I get one. I've been looking everywhere but the ones I have found are too big for the burner
My mom added boiled egg too. I do the same!

He Nicole I've been looking for a Tuna Casserole. Have you made one you really liked??
Me too! Maybe she'll do one.
If I was on Nicole's set, I would combine all three of these preparations and make a sandwich. With some good potato chips alongside.
If going for chips they made the best crunch IN the sandwich 😊
I love canned tuna just like you made it. I just eat cooked in recipes.
⭐️
Pack in oil? Or water?
I actually hate tuna but I’m gonna try these with canned chicken!!!
Those look so good and come on so easy…
I do have a question… I love your shirt… strawberry fields forever..,, please share where u got it..🙏🏼 & thank you ✌️
...oh yes, the tuna!... growing up, it was stirred into melted Velveeta "cheese", with frozen peas, served over mashed potatoes!
I wish I could feel a measurable spice level from a jalapeño or a serrano but apparently I’ve burned my taste buds off and can only get it from habaneros and above. I’ll try that in this spicy version cuz it looks yummy 😋
My favorite tuna mayo mustard dill relish crushed lays potato chips on rye toast the perfect bite
I'm trying one a week....forever!😅
