THANK YOU SO MUCH for talking about that emilie wallet. OMG I found so many issues with that wallet using within less 3 months. The worst tithing with Emilie is the glazing. Did you know that the canvas is made/glued with 4 thin “fabirics”? How did I know? Because all the card slots were torn apart. It’s not worth it. Don’t buy it.
I had so many issues with my Emilie Wallet. After a year with light use the flap closure started curling and I had glazing issues. When I went to LV to inquire about the quality issues the CA looked at me like I had 4 heads and insisted that the Emilie wallet wears well. Glad to know I wasn’t wrong about this wallet having some quality issues
Yes!!! Totally agreed!! The flap will start to curl. I’ve mentioned the same issue on my comment here. Do not buy anything made of canvas with button in the middle of the flap. The curl issue very likely will happen. 😰

I so appreciate these videos. I had so many different wallets from LV. I missed out on the original Zippy Compact and kicked myself. Then I discovered the Helene. Remember that one? It. Was. Perfect. NO wear after 5 years. Sadly both are retired :(
I have the Insolite wallet with the Stephen Sprouse print on the inside (going way back here). I used it forever and it still looks almost new. It sounds like quality has become an issue over the years. Thank you for making this video.
My personal experience… do not buy canvas wallet/bag (example: Felicie Pochette, Emilie Wallet, Sarah Wallet etc) with button in the middle of the flap. It is because after sometimes, the corners of the flap will curl upwards. My SA told me it is the nature of canvas 😳🙄
I have the Emilie wallet in mono and rose ballerine and I love it. It's perfect. Had it for a year now and it shows no wear and it's the only wallet I use and have. I tried the Sarah first and didn't like it. As a pp said, it was mom-ish. Love the Emilie.
I have the key pouch which I use as my daily wallet. It’s my most used SLG and great value as it holds my travel cards, credit cards, cash as well as my keys. I would probably repurchase if I had to.

It’s the wear. Canvas always has problems. It’s not as good as it use to be and who wants to walk around with cracked lv. Also leather is just a bit more exclusive. You won’t see everyone with it.
Your videos are so informative. I love my Sarah wallet in Epi. I purchased almost new on the pre-loved market and it is a workhorse and still looks new. Not buying an ultra expensive phone case that will be used for maybe a couple of years would seem like a no brainer.
Love this video ! DO NOT BUY the revival mules in black with low heal. They did not wear well and worst quality wore them once for a half hour to a seated dinner and they ripped. And no one in lv would want to replace they are not even a week old. Horrible

I am not too happy with my Damier Sara wallet. I really don’t use it very much, maybe several times in the summer but most of the card slots have curled forward and the outside edges are curling outward. It is an older piece, 2014, but I really don’t use it, it looks horrible.
@@maisonmalli Phone fits in the larger pouch. Cards in the second with a card holder. If I wanted to I could throw my key holder in there but I hook them on the wristlet. To be fair I don’t carry much with me ever so this item isn’t practical if you’re not a phone and card only girl. You’re right for most this don’t make sense.

Hmmmm, what about the azure canvas? Those are an absolute no buy for me because they stain so easily, I’ve had friends that had their azure stained with the leather seats of their car
I wouldn’t include that on a bags not to buy list. Azure wears based on how the individual cares for it. It’s white. Like any light color bag, without proper care, you will see color transfer. This list is more so for bags with poor quality or over priced

I like all the lockme line products. I have the zippy and the small wallet in this line, and I haven’t had any issues. I am not gentle with my wallets or bags, and I can tell you they work fine for me. I have never been into monogram or anything from LV that’s screams LV (e.g., Empreinte leather). It just seems like the quality on monograms is just not there for me. The card slots in monogram wallets seems so sloppy and plasticky. If I am gonna spend that much money on a bag, I’d rather spend the money on real leather……so that I don’t have to baby the bag or wallet. Additionally the lock me line is classy and not flashy. I like that about the line, and so far everything I have purchased has been nothing but great.
I was recently thinking of getting the trio pouch only because I need small pouches for random things to put in my larger bags. Initially, I was thinking of getting the mini pochette and a key pouch and almost had a heart attack at how much the mini pochette has increased in price. But, then saw the trio and thought that would work out better. Not sure now. Do you think the mini pochette would hold it's value better over time?
I have the Victorine wallet and I heard the leather button may not wear well but wanted it anyway because it’s a great little wallet! Six card slots, two slip pockets, bill holder and change holder in a compact size, I love it, fits in all my small bags. I have the Sarah wallet too but have to use it with my larger bags and the canvas has stretched over time. I have a special edition mini pochette been using for YEARS and nothing is worn off the canvas, nothing is cracked. I am careful with it though.

I got two wallets and a key holder 4 mo ago they are trash...My LV wallet from 2004 is far superior had to pull that and my Marc Jacobs wallets back out
I’ve had my kirigami set for a year now. I use it often when I travel and want to carry LV but not one of the bigger or bulkier pieces. I spilled hot coffee inside the largest pouch and it wiped out completely clean and still looks amazing- no cracks or stains anywhere. I use the three pieces in so many different ways and they all look great still after a year. Matter of fact I’m in Aruba and I have received tons of compliments on my kirigami. I purchased an insert and I wear it as a clutch, crossbody or shoulder bag and the mini wallet is amazing to rotate between bags as a card holder, coin purse, etc.

The colored button on the Emilie wallet isn't leather at all .. it's the same coated canvas that the entire wallet is made of. That's why it peels so easily. When it starts peeling, take a look at the material under the coating. You can actually see the canvas!! Real leather doesn't wear like that... Just saying 🧐

@@DaniOchannel Hi! It really works for me as I don’t have a separate coin purse. The long one works great as a small cosmetic pouch and square one is ideal for cards abs a bit of currency. I’m enjoying them a lot! But if you have other slg’s in your collection already then you may not enjoy. Then I’d stick to the mini pochette, but it’s so hard to come by. The Detroit saks store had the leather one but I wanted canvas.

I was influenced by the hype over the Victorine wallet and I bought it. What a mistake. It was very impractical in every sense. It created a huge and ugly bulge inside when I had more that maybe 10 bills. I forced myself to like it (It's LV right!) but then sold it after a year. No regrets.
I literally have two slgs the LV 6 key ring and Chanel card case. You would think with 27 bags, I would have more but I’d rather use that money for a bag I am going to get a pouch for bills not sure which brand. Great video as always.
Wow!!! I love your minimalist approach to SLGs!!! Honestly it's a smart approach - you never have to worry about swapping in and out of SLGs. I have quite a few I haven't even used... could have put the money towards bags. I kept my Chanel card holder unopened in my drawer for 2+ years and only recently opened it. The authenticity card was inside the main card compartment and completely stretched it out 😞 Need to let go of what I don't use!
Awww, I love my trio and use it daily. My iphone fits in the larger pouch and somehow I’m able to fit cards, cash, hand sanitizer, lip balm, lotion (bbw pocket size) and my car key fob into the three segment with ease. 🤷🏻♀️ I totally get what you are saying price wise the Felicie would have been a better choice, but since mine was a gift… I’m making the most of it and enjoying it. Yay! None of my SLG’s were on the list 😂 I love my LV SLG’s but I refuse to by their card holders. I can’t justify spending $300-$600 when the contemporary brands make nice card holders as well. Side note, your almost at 10k subs 🙌🏾❤️

I love my card holder! Yea the price was steep and I almost returned it but so glad I did not. It easily holds 2 cards per slot and I even put cash in it . I probably could even put 3 cards in but I have no need to do so. The $200 card holders hold maybe 4-5 cards. I also own a Sarah wallet but most of my bags are small so Sarah is way too big.

Definitely had this issue. I had to get it repaired after 2 1/2 years of minimal use and am forced to pay a whopping $195 🙄 never again!

I got two wallets and a key holder 4 mo ago they are trash...My LV wallet from 2004 is far superior had to pull that and my Marc Jacobs wallets back out

I’ve had my kirigami set for a year now. I use it often when I travel and want to carry LV but not one of the bigger or bulkier pieces. I spilled hot coffee inside the largest pouch and it wiped out completely clean and still looks amazing- no cracks or stains anywhere. I use the three pieces in so many different ways and they all look great still after a year. Matter of fact I’m in Aruba and I have received tons of compliments on my kirigami. I purchased an insert and I wear it as a clutch, crossbody or shoulder bag and the mini wallet is amazing to rotate between bags as a card holder, coin purse, etc.
What is your opinion of the Cannes bag?
I don’t like it. But that’s all I got. That’s more of personal preference 🥰

The colored button on the Emilie wallet isn't leather at all .. it's the same coated canvas that the entire wallet is made of. That's why it peels so easily. When it starts peeling, take a look at the material under the coating. You can actually see the canvas!! Real leather doesn't wear like that... Just saying 🧐

@@DaniOchannel Hi! It really works for me as I don’t have a separate coin purse. The long one works great as a small cosmetic pouch and square one is ideal for cards abs a bit of currency. I’m enjoying them a lot! But if you have other slg’s in your collection already then you may not enjoy. Then I’d stick to the mini pochette, but it’s so hard to come by. The Detroit saks store had the leather one but I wanted canvas.

I was influenced by the hype over the Victorine wallet and I bought it. What a mistake. It was very impractical in every sense. It created a huge and ugly bulge inside when I had more that maybe 10 bills. I forced myself to like it (It's LV right!) but then sold it after a year. No regrets.
I literally have two slgs the LV 6 key ring and Chanel card case. You would think with 27 bags, I would have more but I’d rather use that money for a bag I am going to get a pouch for bills not sure which brand. Great video as always.
Wow!!! I love your minimalist approach to SLGs!!! Honestly it's a smart approach - you never have to worry about swapping in and out of SLGs. I have quite a few I haven't even used... could have put the money towards bags. I kept my Chanel card holder unopened in my drawer for 2+ years and only recently opened it. The authenticity card was inside the main card compartment and completely stretched it out 😞 Need to let go of what I don't use!
Awww, I love my trio and use it daily. My iphone fits in the larger pouch and somehow I’m able to fit cards, cash, hand sanitizer, lip balm, lotion (bbw pocket size) and my car key fob into the three segment with ease. 🤷🏻♀️ I totally get what you are saying price wise the Felicie would have been a better choice, but since mine was a gift… I’m making the most of it and enjoying it. Yay! None of my SLG’s were on the list 😂 I love my LV SLG’s but I refuse to by their card holders. I can’t justify spending $300-$600 when the contemporary brands make nice card holders as well. Side note, your almost at 10k subs 🙌🏾❤️

I love my card holder! Yea the price was steep and I almost returned it but so glad I did not. It easily holds 2 cards per slot and I even put cash in it . I probably could even put 3 cards in but I have no need to do so. The $200 card holders hold maybe 4-5 cards. I also own a Sarah wallet but most of my bags are small so Sarah is way too big.
