Really well made video. Having gone through the whole program this really represents it well. Those cars are fantastic to drive, didn't have a chance to run cota in the race series but definitely a good track for them.
Okay. First of all I want to compliment you on the quality of this video! Wow! Well done Sir! It was great! I can imagine what a learning experience it was! I'm sure looking forward to the next following videos from Austin! You looked like you really enjoyed yourself while learning a lot! I am super happy for you Bobby! Excellent! I appreciate you sharing this with all of us "fans"! Mark in Iowa.
Check out Skip Barber's website and go to the calendar tab and then you can choose the program you're interested in and it has a price on the registration page!
@@SilverandButters I believe there’s roughly 10 or so on-track sessions between the open lapping, stop-box and lead-follow sessions that last about 25 minutes but it really depends on the other students to not go off track and red flag sessions, etc. but it felt like plenty of track time over the 3 days.

@ATAnetwork Is blipping the throttle when downshifting necessary?
What are your thoughts on rev matching when downshifting?
Great Video!! Looking forward to maybe doing this at COTA! Did SB at Road America many years ago and loved it!
Do the tyres get cold after the sighting lap or do we not have to worry about that?
Yes, they are usually cold so they don't have students push the cars too hard in the outlap and first lap of the session.
I could tell that in the intro. Bobby was like shit here they come. And then said fuck it I’m not redoing this in his mind
You are welcome My friend!
When you said I spent time in the sim that was tribute to the ikea Kia

I'm curious about the price of this program at COTA?

@@BobbyKrug much appreciated, sir. Do you have plans to continue with formula racing in the future?
@@mickridore1483 As of now, I will be competing in the remaining Formula Series races this year.
@@BobbyKrug looking forward to seeing you run!
@@BobbyKrug I wanna do this so bad and I’m 13
Do you need any special license to join this school?
As long as you have a drivers license or if you don’t have a drivers license, prior karting experience, than you’re good to go!
You gonna do those 2 Day Advanced Courses?
Hopefully sooner rather than later!
@@BobbyKrug how much seat time did you get overall in the 3 Day course?

How on earth does one crash on the formation lap 🤦🏼♂️
