I have this setup with the new version Rezivot w/ RB67. What I noticed is that whatever I have in frame is most times smaller on Polaroid. So I need to get a bit closer to really match what Im looking for. Do what I do, I like trimming the larger portion on my polaroids anyway. Has a 120 format.
Nice video. I just wonder, is it impossible to mount the rezivot while the mount is rotated to vertical mode? I wish i could get a original direction output.
thanks, unfortunately not on the RZ67, i am unsure about the other cameras they make the back for, with the RZ67 you must rotate the camera 90 degrees right and it definitely helps to use a prism finder
Having trouble trying to find the Rezivot back on their site? I was wondering if you put it together yourself using rz polaroid back and Impossible lab? Or you do you need to order part of it from Rezivot people? I emailed you as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Hi, unfortunately it looks like Rezivot no longer sell the part, it's a particular piece they made which you had to assemble to fit an impossible lab to it, i know i've seen them for sale already assembled but unfortunately it looks like they're no longer making it themselves for you to put together
you'll get square images aren't you? I love the whole concept but this I don't get. Why don't they stick with the original image ratio the Mamiya rz67 provides?
it’s a good question, because the RZ has the rotating back is must have a 7x7 mask at the back of the camera so it can be 7 in either portrait or landscape orientation, the rezivot back doesn’t have a mask in it so you can get the largest possible image on the polaroid and the square format you get matches that of the polaroid itself which i think makes more sense
Honestly the best run through I’ve found on this, well done.
thank you very much!
Great video. I am not the most familiar with the system for my new Mamiya RB67.
Any chance of the product link?
i don't believe they make it anymore sadly, i have seen them for sale second hand though
Thanks for the video. Really helped. I just ordered mine. Hoping i won’t have a hard time on the install 🤔
shouldn't be too hard, just need to make sure you take your time with it but good luck with it

Yeah the Rezivot back will be 7x7 so will be slightly larger than the 6x7 but you do get used to it quite quickly, good luck with it
nice vid thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
I just put mine together and I hated the installation so damn much. But it ejects film so everything was worth it!
yeah looking back i feel the same about building it but once it's done it's done thankfully
@@MaxLamdin the pictures are amazing I am really glad I did it

Hi. Nice video. How do you scan your Polaroids? Take a picture or flatbed scanning?
i use a flat bed, i have a piece of black card which i put behind them so it's easier to select them
Max Lamdin and I guess you also elevate slightly the picture so as not to touch the scanner screen to avoid Newton rings?
i don't but i make sure that the cats doesn't push down too hard
Max Lamdin Thanks. And if you need inspiration one day for a new video, I'm sure how you successfully scan Polaroids will be very welcomed. 🙂
thank you i will definitely consider it but i'd never really thought about it being something of interest so i'll definitely consider it👍🏼

Is it still possible to build this in 2023?
unfortunately i don't think Rezivot make this conversion kit anymore
what sucks is that this is based on a product that is very hard to find these days. and i'm not talking about the RZ
i'm assuming this wouldn't work with the polaroid lab?
yeah they can be hard to get ahold of but worth it if you can find one, haven’t seen one that works with the polaroid lab annoyingly
Yeah that’s annoying... impossible labs are going for around $200 on eBay and this back kit is also around $200.
Will this work on the RB?
Rezivot make a separate back for the RB, there's a link in the description to their website if you want to check it out
