Oh my gosh Dominique...you ask the BEST questions!! That is why you are one of my favorite UA-camrs and why you are such a great newscaster journalist. Thank you for all the questions regarding those of us with naturally wavy, textured and color treated hair. And I'm glad you brought up the fact that the keratin treatments can cause a bit of damage to the hair. People need to know this before they consider doing that type of treatment to their hair.

I like this! You still have the option of embracing the curls but without the frizz. The shine is incredible!!
I love the Brazilian! My stylist said the same thing - keratin will cause your hear to break. Over the years, my hair has gone from wavy to frizzy to coarse/gray/brillo pad so I am thrilled with the Brazilian. Worth every penny.

I'm obsessed with the Brazilian Blowouts. Have been doing them for about three years now. We seem to have the same type hair, I've never loved my hair as much as I do since discovering the blowouts! I initially thought I'd only get them in the summer but I love how it makes my hair look and feel so much that I get them throughout the year. They will really spoil you!! Now my ridiculous curls are manageable. I love my hair for the first time in my life!! :)

I love my brazzilian blowouts! I have been able to grow my hair out after 45 years of short hair! Now I'm 54 and have honestly the "Victoria's Secret Model" hair i always dreamed of! I used to hit that shoulder lenght shaggy split end mess and cut my hair off. Now I cut my hair 2" and 3" off because I think I'm starting to look rediculous because it is so long. I can't tell you how much I love this process!

😂😂😂when I saw the title “Brazilian express” I wondered to myself why I hadn’t heard about this because in Australia a “Brazilian” means having a full wax in your “private area”! 🤣🤣🤣
Here in the states a brazilian wax is the same as what you're describing.
When it comes to hair, a brazilian blow out or a brazilian express is what you see on the video
I think this style is very elegant and becoming to your facial profile, so very beautiful.
Dominique you are so fortunate to have the hair you have. You can have treatments and get amazing results. I have tine hair and there is no treatment that will ever give me that beautiful bouncy hair.

I've had short hair for the last 20 years, my husband asked me to grow my hair out. I'm 56, and no gray yet, and fairly smooth skin. My hair grew out gorgeous...but part of me missed cute short hair cuts. BTW..I love your hair!

I have very thick medium length hair and i get a Brazilian every 5 or 6 months. So awesome!! Cuts the drying time in half. A little pricey but so worth it!!
I was so, so glad that Dominique asked about the difference between Keratin and this treatment. My husband -- a chemist -- has basically called the Keratin not safe. So that there's another option: woo-hoo!
I'm glad she asked too! I got something like this once and I'm thinking it was the Keratin because my hair was flat ironed straight maybe while it was wet (I think...cannot remember) and I couldn't wash it for 3 days. It was fine for a while but I noticed a lot of breakage and my sides feel very different now. Makes sense now between this and your husband's confirmation. I've steered clear of anything like this for years but now I'm thinking maybe its possible. :-)
Alley Irvine Hair is made up of keratin. It’s the formaldehyde that’s so dangerous in the other treatments.
Leslie -- You are right on. I checked w/ my chemist husband and he said the same thing. No Keratin or Brazilian Express for me.

Anne Marie please try using few drops of pure almond oil after ur hair wash and the frizz will minimize and hair won’t be oily too.

I’m Brazilian and this blow out is absolutely amazing! I had it done a few times on my hair and it always looks super soft and healthy. Who you have it done with is absolutely key.
It’s kind of pricey, especially if you have a lot of hair (which I do 😬)

Added to update: I've since learned from Leslie (below) and my chemist husband that neither Keratin nor Brazilian Express treatments are good for you. Leslie nailed it when she wrote, (it's) "the formaldehyde that’s so dangerous."
Beauty can be a lot of fun, friends, but we need to be smart at the same time. Hair stylists aren't chemists. I love my hairstylist and she does awesome highlights, but again, she's not a chemist.
Beautiful Dominque! As a woman of color with a natural curl pattern, I love being able to transition from curly to straight. However, there are those days when a Brazilian Blowout would be so helpful...ie rainy and humid days. But living in Dallas our humid days are not so often as the Houston area. So normally a good Marcel flat iron does the straightening trick for me. But to each it’s own and your hair looks marvelous!!!...Tamela

I tried the Brazilian treatment last year. It was absolutely beautiful!! I loved it!! It got rid of the frizzy hair. But, since I live in Houston, the humidity made my hair frizzy again in just a month. I probably need a few treatments to keep the frizzy hair at bay. However, the Brazilian treatment is not cheap. When you don't have a job, it makes it extremely difficult to keep up with it. Just saying. 😊

Hi Dominique. I turn 50 this year and my mom is 72. We were at Target yesterday and she wanted to buy some new lipstick and we are both challenged when it comes to picking out the right color or knowing what is on-trend. So, since you take suggestions for future videos, I’d love a tutorial on how to choose the right every day color (my mom is definitely on the conservative side) and what are some trends to look for that are age appropriate. At affordable prices, of course. Drugstore brands. What are some of your favorite colors? I know you’ve mentioned many amongst other videos, but it would be great to have a video just devoted to lipsticks to make it easier to find. Thanks for your consideration!

Joann Salas I asked my B3 rep about this. She said an Express is coming soon, but this isn't it (it's still in the works). She said you are to always rinse the solution out.
