I’ve been looking for a video like this for a while. Thanks for the clear breakdown. Can you please comment on what’s next after being a system engineer and network engineer? Also I hear the role of an architect. What do they do within a company?

I worked as a computer tech in a company for 2 years till last month, doing some server and network stuff sometimes. I graduated in computer networks and I got the MCSA windows server 2016 cert in november of the last year. I'm still trying to find a path to specialize.

Hi! Really helpful video, I have a couple of questions:
    1) If I play both level 2/3 roles, like System Engineer and Network Engineer, could I state my job role as Network System Engineer?
    2) At the moment, I do both network and system engineer stuff, how could I move more to the system engineer side? And after that, is it possible to became Cloud Engineer (or Architect), which capabilities should I need?
    Thanks!

Appreciate your information about the various Systems Administration job descriptions. Currently I have a title of Computer Operator, however I am currently studying for the Comptia A+ certification. Hopefully that certification will help me to get a Systems Administration job with that job title as well.

Can you do a video on Network Technician vs NOC vs Network Engineer? Can a Network Tech be a Network Engineer? CCNA and or CCNP enough to be a tech or Engineer?
I have not found any videos on this.
    Thanks

Would you say there's more money in System Engineering or Network Engineering? I'm already a higher level Systems Engineer with strong Networking background (CCNA, CCNA Security) but I want to transition to a more Security based role. Is Security Engineer the next step?

Thanks for commenting. This really depends on the skillset and company. If you specialise in a specific tech, and get real good at that, then you'll earn more money. Here's a vid I did a little while ago. Hope it helps - ua-cam.com/video/sa2GQjwTbNc/v-deo.html

Does system engineer/administrator needs, coding skills to survive in IT field??

Thanks for your comment. Not really, it's always a plus if they do, but not essential. Worked with plenty of super technical engineers who didn't know how to code.
