- I recently went to the mall and saw a cute, simple linen shirt at Banana Republic. I thought it looked simple enough to try to re-create in my own way. So here we go!

Thank you! Hopefully the next prototype comes out better lol 🙂
Facings all around.
Yesss, thank you!! I was wondering what it was called lol
Looks nice you did a good job
Thank you! Hopefully soon I can share the final result 🙂
Hey, just wanted to let you know that thr link for the curved ruler leads to the pattern paper instead
Thank you so much for letting me know, I appreciate it! I just fixed it 🙂
Not bad for a base to work from. Next time, try understitching neckline rather than topstitching for a crisper fold over & more professional look
I love this suggestion. I will actually be working on the 2nd prototype tomorrow and I will try that out, thank you!
If you try understitching your facing you needn't top stitch and it looks pretty left plain. I would have put bias finish on neck and armholes. I would have rather had no muzak. I'm not criticizing just giving advice. Well done for trying
Thank you! I definitely appreciate the feedback, it’s always welcome here 😊 I love the idea of finishing the neck and armholes with bias. I can see how it would be a much cleaner look. Thank you, I will try that!
