Just wanted to say thank you BYD. One of the reasons I love your channel is you don't talk down to people or act like you are a lawn God. You instead just put out there what you are doing and how its working for you. I saw the Fertilome last year and tried it and now all the Neighbors are loving the lawn!!!!!! Thanks!
You don't have to be a rocket scientist. You have what is important and that is practical knowledge. Thanks a bunch for sharing that knowledge. And you are correct on the pronunciation of chelated. In chemistry class at OSU for agriculture degree I learned it sounds like "key-lated." Thanks again!
Hey excellent video, I am trying to get my lawn green and weed free in Lithonia. Your videos are the best I have seen to teach homeowners how to get a nice lawn.
Beto Doc helps many people in his neighborhood and even treats his neighbors yards with several products, free of charge..sounds pretty arrogant to me 😑🤔
Well, you sold Me. Gonna try it and also try this other concentrate on a different part of my lawn and see if there is a difference. I’ll let you know because it’s a big money saver if it’s good. It’s called Almighty Iron - 8 fl. oz. - Makes up to 50 gallons & Covers Up to 50,000 sq. ft. - Liquid Iron - 10% Iron Amino Acid Complex
One of my favorite intros BYD. I been using Southern Aug for 2 months and a local product before that, but I don't mind trying out this product especially if it has added nutrients in it. Awesome Video!👍🏽
For soil treatment in general it should be 4 oz per gallon per 500 sq.ft or 8 oz per 2gallons 1000 sq.ft. Water it in or risk burning the grass. If you're doing soil treatment then use a granular. For a foliar spray on my Fescue and Bermuda I use 1 to 2 oz per gallon with Urban Farms liquid lawn that also adds extra greening. On my Bermuda areas I come back 2 weeks later and reapply the same dose a 2nd time or as needed. Do some small test spots with lower doses until you find out what your particular grass or turf likes.
Thanks. I had bought a bottle of the Fertilome to use just a little to spray on the leaves of my hibiscus (which worked to stop yellowing leaves), and I was wondering about using the rest of the bottle to regularly spray on my bermuda lawn. I have a lawn care company, and the grass looks pretty good (It's expensive but I am a 64 yr old single woman), but don't you think it would be fine for me to use a battery operated tank sprayer? Blessings.
Good review. I’ve been curious about some of the liquid Iron products but haven’t gotten around to trying them. I tried to get you one of those riding John Deere mowers earlier today but they weren’t having it. 😂🤣👍🏽 I missed my pre-emergent window so I have to spot treat some of my weeds but I’m patiently waiting for next year to have a nice lawn. As bad as my lawn looks I’m still crushing my neighbors.
I live in central Cali and have tall fescue at 4in. It’s very hot over 107 last 2 days. My lawn not as green as usual. So I used about 1/4 of the app rate of fertilome just know and watered it on good. Let’s see if it has an effect

Randy Spicer Randy I’d suggest a fert with some Potassium in it. A lesco 24-0-11. You’ll need that to help you roots since you have high heat stress there. This product also has iron in it. But trying to push growth with no rain 🌧 is just not heAlthy for the lawn. Do you have an irrigation system ?
Good morning BYD…so I recently so your vid on ferti lome and purchased a week ago. I did not apply it correctly. I didn’t use a hose slayer rather a Insecticide sprayer. I spayed it on but did not water lawn until 24 hours later. Would it be ok to apply again a week later the correct way ?
BYD...I’m getting lots of compliments from my neighbors. My crush line is off the charts. I used 16 oz. of Fertilome diluted with 16 oz. of water in a 32 ounce hose-end sprayer per 500 square feet per the instructions. It darkened my front yard up to a beautiful dark green. The back yard darkened up a lot but not as much as the front yard. I see you used 100% Fertilome in your hose-end sprayer and didn’t dilute it. Do you think I can do that and be okay? You did. So I should be okay. What are your thoughts?
Pedro Cleveland the hose end sprayer will automatically dilute it for you. I can’t remember the rate I used be I did split applications if I’m not mistaken. I also used a high octane fertilizer to push my lawn. I’m not recommended you use a 46-0-0 because it could be deadly 😂. I was so impressed with that Fertilome though, it is awesome 👏🏽
Fertilome is bad man!!! I used them in my hanging baskets and they are out there l. The neighbor wanna know where I get my flowers from yearly...I can’t tell them!!!!
Hi, I have a question that hopefully you can answer, I am in Lithonia, GA and the high has been about low 90s everyday, how often should I water my lawn ( every day or every other day?) 5 minutes or 10 minutes?
Hendry Muljadi it is up to you. But normally after I see a fade in color , but between my fertilizer and this I only applied it twice during the season. Better yet I’d read the recommendation on the bottom so as to not over do it.
