Super cool video, chapeau! sec 25- you managed to elongate the pendulum slide with gas, which helped you take control back, genius and very well timed move. It seems that you more and more learned how to initiate the oversteer to eliminate understeer, but not reach big angles, so you don't have to leave the gas. Looks like satisfying progress. Keep them coming!
Thank you! After reviewing some data, it seems the pendulum slide was because i fully lifted off the throttle, still have a lot of practice to do in keeping that right foot planted!
@@studiousGR86 yah, it gets better w/ seat time. you should try drift nights at k1 speed if you have one nearby, assuming you're in the bay area. on your next track day, check out if they have a skid pad and spend some time just trying to do donuts.
any oil pressure issues? saw you usually fill 1 quart over is that still working fine for you? looking into getting a 2024 brz and wondering if im gonna need to install an oil baffle. how do you feel the car handles normally in the rain? it looks very over steery
Oil pressure drops are a function of lateral g and rpm, even with an overfill it will happen under the right circumstances. Currently testing the verus pan but I don't have any track events soon. The car is very fun in the rain, great for car control practice!
Hey I was there too! Sliding around in the rain was really fun until I did a 180 after turn 4 lol
Ahh must've missed you. It was a great day to have fun and practice car control!
@@studiousGR86 All good! I don't think I've met you in person yet, but I'm usually #256 in a white GR86
