    Short answer no unless and until NCAA decides to not factor in money. This change at least sets up SR3 vs SR4 in the finals which helps at least.

    I wish they would just say the quite parts out loud. “Listen, we cannot afford the D1 models.” I personally think the FCS is the best one currently but they barely can afford it and D2 certainly cannot.

      @@Rockyinkansas agreed on the FCS model. I think you’d be surprised about how many D2 programs would be all in on that and ready for the expense. Unfortunately it’s an all or nothing approach

      ​@@division1rejects no doubt the longer term D2 schools have the money for it but a smaller school who just reclassed like say Sul Ross State or Jamestown, they're gonna struggle unfortunately with it. Even then I'd love to see the FCS bracket adopted for D2, the NAIA bracket with some small changes could be sick as well

      I agree. They need to model the FCS plan.
      At the end of the day, if the colleges can’t find a way to financially support the right model without the NCAA subsidizing it, then should you be in this level of football??
