I have always had huge respect for Lucie Arnaz. She has always seemed so intelligent and so well grounded for being a child of two very famous people. And she is so talented in her own right. I love that she married Laurence Luckenbill and that they have been so happy together. I'm impressed that she has worked so much her whole life considering that she probably did not have to, after inheriting part of her mom's estate and her dad's estate. Great interview!
Its so good to see how well they are doing, and Lucille Ball must be beaming from the heavens from pride, she loved her kids so much. All we want is to see our kids turn out so well and doing better than we did, it’s evolution. They seem very well adjusted, intelligent, and happy together. Of all of Lucy’s legacies and accomplishments, her kids were her most important.
12:05 I LOVE how you can see Lucie is STILL fascinated at Laurence's acting ability and finds him intriguing, just sitting there. That's Love. So good to see such great talents. Great to see the great Gloria Greer. She is full of charm, and vitality. Love her and her work. Thanks for sharing!GREAT SHOW!
I think how proud Lucy and Desi must be of their daughter.... My religion says that we all stay around even though we are dead.... Sort of like the musical " carousel ... I look at all three of them and think quality.. smartness.. and genuineness...Lucille Ball came from a dirt poor family in upstate New York... And Desi arnaz from a rich wealthy family in Cuba who.. were destroyed by the Batista regime... Their story is the story of America.... How that in rich soil beautiful plants can grow....
This is so beautiful....they met doing a play and her mom & dad also met doing a movie.....they look so much in love....they compliment Desi Sr. & Lucy
I'm so happy to see that Lucie Arnaz's married to Laurence Luckinbill lasted for over three decades. The fact that someone made a comment to Desi Arnaz regarding to walking his daughter down the road of a second marriage and he turned around stated his opinion.
The fact that Lucie Arnaz and Laurence Luckinbill have been married nearly three and half decades ago, it appeared from being the right move for her father Desi Arnaz to walk down the second time. It is funny when someone made comment about that, he turned around replied by stating it wasn't a problem as long his daughter find the right one. As what I read, it appeared that Desi Arnaz was happy that his daughter Lucie chosen Laurence Luckinbill. Not only that Desi Arnaz did live enough to spend time with his grandchildren that Lucie and Laurence had produce together.
This has been SEVERAL YEARS AGO but I enjoyed EVERY MINUTE!! Seeing them together is wonderful! Lucie & her Brother have not done much with the media. I’m sure they & their children & grandchildren are enjoying the inheritance from the Desilu, etc that their Parents BLESSED them with! Happy to see the Shows that Lucie & Desi have assembled to Honor their Latin Heritage! This current time is seeing a wonderful🌟Latin🌟Cuban🌟South American.... SO MANY🌟HISPANIC🌟CULTURES that performers are seeing GREAT response🌟$$$🤩
I really do like Lucie & Laurence & I pray that they are Christ followers. For obvious reasons that is my prayer for them & for all people the world over.
You are absolutely correct. The interview was taped a year ago. Even though some of the events we discuss are over, I find Lucie and Larry are such an interesting and talented couple, it is worth keeping the program here.
Laurence says that they met "by accident" - I believe that they met by design of the Creator God. Lucie Arnaz is so very talented - how I wish that she had done more film (television & movies) for us to enjoy. My personal opinion (from the little bit of her work that I have been privileged to view) is that she is much more talented than either of her parents & her mother was an extremely talented actress!
Cream of the Crop “More talented”? Are you kidding ? “Met by design the creator god”? Does the creator god design the beatings, the rape, the torcher of little kids ?
Gary Morton's widow was a nasty b****! According to a documentary I watched on the Reelz channel, she had some of Lucille's personal effects, including precious family heirlooms that she inherited after Gary died, and she was refusing to give them back to the family because she wanted to sell them at auction for extra money. Lucie Arnaz had to fight her in court to get her to release these items back to the family!
They all tried to be funny and would laugh way toooo long over some crack, Her mom,Gary Morton, desi jr all were not funny, yup even Lucille was not funny in interviews. But a genius with a script.
Luckinbill is so senile ,thinking anyone would be interested in his views spoken at such length ,just because he married lucille ball's daughter who never got along with her mother
I really enjoyed listening to Laurence Luckinbill. He - was fascinating all the way around to me. No hype, decency, intelligence, and very relatable. The fact he chose Clarence Darrow - someone who interested me in grade school and who I read about and saw the Scopes Trial and different versions of Leopold and Loeb early on. Also, how he felt when he wanted to turn down Lyndon, every thing he said was so much how I felt (vis a vis the Vietnam War). Also what a fantastic politician he was getting Kennedy's bills passed in that he certainly knew how to work the Senate. I remember so wanting to see Hal Holbrook doing Mark Twain, a great writer and interesting philosopher of sorts. I wonder if women do one "man"shows on women as main characters?
I felt that Luckinbill was wonderful - so intelligent, thoughtful and sensitive. His expression of how he came to know Lyndon Johnson etc was so truthful and real. (I still can't stand Lyndon Johnson because of the Vietnam War) but his mastery in politics was astounding - Medicare, Voting Rights, Civil Rights etc etc. amazingly effective person. The way Luckinbill approaches his subjects shows his depth - I also had a fascination with Clarence Darrow early on - and the way that L. described him - I wish he was coming to New York and doing the one man play of him. Also, how he saw the student who raised his hand and was not called on - and he stopped and asked him what his question was - and the boy asked him when did you die? told me something about the young man how enthralled he was with the portrayal. Wonderful interview.
Xena Warriorprincess You sound like a racist. I couldn’t watch it because it was boring. These are obviously white people......... so of course this is white. 🙄

She's very impressive, I always thought so..

Two amazingly talented people! And, they both give wonderful interviews!

My thoughts !!! Exactly
Even after decades of marriage, Lucie looks at Larry like he's the most interesting man she's ever seen. What a great interview.
I love the gesture that Lucie does at 5.21! Very much a Lucille Ball kind of gesture.
I think how proud Lucy and Desi must be of their daughter.... My religion says that we all stay around even though we are dead.... Sort of like the musical " carousel ... Absolutely out of this world very talented couple
Lucie is ageless!
I loved the casual neighbor-like chat about the interview. Very comfortable and relaxing like you're talking with an old friend.
I'm so happy to see that Lucie Arnaz's married to Laurence Luckinbill lasted for over three decades. The fact that someone made a comment to Desi Arnaz regarding to walking his daughter down the road of a second marriage and he turned around stated his opinion.
Luv “little Lucy” … so much like her mom and even better!!
Enjoyed this interview - found the personal chat refreshing - more like three people chatting, instead of a formal recap of their careers.
This is the BEST I've ever seen Lucie on camera... comfortable..
And not silly like usual and letting someone else talk instead of her
I love how little Lucy lets him have his moment. :)
A wise woman will learn how to feed the male ego need, so that her
husband never feels like a 2nd fiddle.
Larry is such a great story teller, I would love to hear more from him. Lucie and Larry are a very great smart couple. Love them both!❤️

He's wonderful.
good interview gloria ciao
I remember The Bird Watcher movie. U guys were adorable 😍
Both Lucie Arnaz and her husband look like very nice people

It sounds like this interview is from February 2013..cause Lucie says a year from now 'February 2014'
You are absolutely correct. The interview was taped a year ago. Even though some of the events we discuss are over, I find Lucie and Larry are such an interesting and talented couple, it is worth keeping the program here.
Lucie really looks at her husband with love and admiration. Good marriage!
When was this interview?
This interview was taped about a year ago.
💖💖💖💋
What does God need with a starship
It is for the rich and. Famous !
Laurence says that they met "by accident" - I believe that they met by design of the Creator God.

Cream of the Crop
“More talented”? Are you kidding ?
“Met by design the creator god”? Does the creator god design the beatings, the rape, the torcher of little kids ?
Cream of the Crop More talented than her parents?? Stay off the drugs!
What health issues is this poor woman dealing with? It's obvious that she is dealing with illness, may God bless her
If he was born in 1877, that was after the civil war. Civil war was 1860-1865
I hope that Gary Morton's widow leaves that home to Lucie & Desi, Jr. or to their offspring. It should stay in the family it began in.
Morton sold the house prior to death, it looks nothing like it did when Lucy lived there
@@RaisingHellAgain : it's too bad the house wasn't perpetually kept open as a museum.
Gary Morton's widow was a nasty b****! Lucy should have written her will in such a away that the homes should have reverted back to Lucy's kids after Gary's passing
Lucius legs look so uncomfortable sitting here
Pippin
She was so mismatched with Neil diamond in jazz singer. No chemistry
Laurence Luckinbill - zzzzzzzzzz. He makes it all about him!
Panda Monium It really got old, right? All about his “ work”.... also, too much about “ we bought 2 houses”..... people are homeless!
Lucie Arnaz tries too hard to be comical, just saying
They all tried to be funny and would laugh way toooo long over some crack, Her mom,Gary Morton, desi jr all were not funny, yup even Lucille was not funny in interviews. But a genius with a script.
Jab Jab Tries too hard,period.
Lucien’s daughter Kate tries to be funny too
Didn’t he leave his first wife and children for lucie
no, he was already divorced when they met
Borrrrrrrrrrrrring.....
C Su Absolutely! Yak,yak....
An exercise in bragging.
Wow Larry Luckinbill has not aged well! But then again as women we can use makeup tricks to look better. Lucie looks great!
Men age like fine wine. Women age like milk.
Give the man a break, he's 82.
Linda Bell-Crandall He looks good for his age
I think Lucie has had a little more help than just makeup.
Oh wow......He didn't age too well.
Luckinbill is so senile ,thinking anyone would be interested in his views spoken at such length ,just because he married lucille ball's daughter who never got along with her mother

Desi Arnaz could not sing. He was painful to listen to.
I loved listening to Desi Arnaz sing - as a child and now I am 77 years old - fan of Lucy and Desi for a long time.
Desi stunk as a singer
This is so white, from the opening to the finale that i just couldn't watch it.
Xena Warriorprincess
You are so right.
But I feel the same way about the black Christian community.
Xena Warriorprincess You sound like a racist. I couldn’t watch it because it was boring. These are obviously white people......... so of course this is white. 🙄
You sound like a miserable racist. Good grief, did you even think before you posted that or are you just trolling white folks? So silly!
Ok
One race one face: the human race.
I was wondering how there was something off putting by this interview, then I realized it was in a Christian context. I’m out of here.
Clarence Darrow was a humanist - don't think he belonged to any religion.
Satan says what?
ALATOT...😅😅😅😅😅😅
