Thank you for the review; I just bought this, $89+tax for the kit (tool, two batteries, charger and soft case) at a local HW store. Was tempted to get the better brushless model, but it was almost $80 more, and I'm only using it around home, not on the job.
Is this any good for fastening stuff on cars? Like small e torx bolts or the undercarriage bolts? I was looking for a dedicated tool for that. Also for doing stuff around the house like drilling in the wall maybe through stucco.
I was afraid to get this because I do casual drilling in auto work at home and basic stuff at home. This video helped a TON. Thank you so much for making it! Great work!
@@ChrisBranleh literally my favorite thing in the house. I use it to do simple repairs, builds, and anything in between. Go buy it, you will not regret it. Battery last forever so I only charge both like once a year if that. I would also buy a bit kit for it so you have other ones.
I see that u have 2.0 batteries on there the one I got came with 1.5...I do hvac work I need to grab some 2.0 or 3.0 batteries that will make it better for me...
at clutch mode 1 with a bit, can it be stopped by hand? i bought the dewalt 8v gyro and i like the clutch for delicate work like little tv screw or etc but miss the power... i was wondering is the mode 1-3 is very delicate or not
I use it on rc car screws and it seems pretty delicate. But when you get to the end you can just tighten it yourself like you can with the dewalt screwdriver as well.
Andy Carvalho thanks, the bit holder was the Makita Ultra Driver, I’m not sure if they still make them but it had a large magnetic sleeve that would slide over to set screws. Hitachi has one very similar
Makita CXT is a great ergonomic handle, very close to the Dewalt 20V Max handle, I am used to the M12 handle, my hands are larger than average and I find them comfortable however many people dislike the battery grip

I know this is an old video but thank you for using the drilling mode. Not many new videos of people trying out the drilling setting thanks.
Nice little Milwaukee screw driver. Thanks for showing us Jimbo! A great tool to give to a family member
You just gotta love a tool that gets it done no questions asked #TIACREW
I didn't realize how powerful that little guy was, I wish they had that one handed chuck on the impact drivers.
+BMack37 They have a 2 speed fuel model that is even more powerful

hows the m12 brushed screwdriver holding up for you?

Nice review,I was curios how well the clutch set up works because i'll be shooting screws into plastic, looks like it will be good to go.
Jimbo- Is there a table with approximate torque settings for each number on the chuck dial?
Thank you for such nice demonstration. You helped me.
Is the chuck supposed to push it out when releasing? Because my doesn't do that

What's the difference between this and the M12 drill or impact? What makes this better for smaller screws?
Basically this is a drill with a 1/4” quick connect chuck, this is a single speed model to it’s not overly powerful for smaller fasteners.
Professional review .

Hi great vid, what bit holder where you using?

Great review! Thanks for posting
How do you like the handle? I have read some reviews and some people said it is too fat of a handle and liked the Makita 12 volt better.
Makita CXT is a great ergonomic handle, very close to the Dewalt 20V Max handle, I am used to the M12 handle, my hands are larger than average and I find them comfortable however many people dislike the battery grip
Hope the clutch settings are better than the m12 drill. Set that on the lowest setting and it WAY overtorques. Not impressed yet by Milwaukee.
Hi mine sparks when I pull the trigger. I don't think it should
Yes it should spark. That’s cause it’s brushed and not brushless. Totally normal
Thank You for sharing with the #tiacrew!
Thanks Jimbo. I have been thinking about getting that for my new m12 addiction. #tiacrew
Buen video gracias...
Nice tool!
Nice review jimbo!! #TIACREW
Thanks for the review. Can you tell me what is the equivalent model at Ridgid? I don’t want too much Power.
Good vid Jimbo 👆
I have one and love it, do you think it can take out a spark plug?
Hope you did NOT remove a spark plug with a drill.
Nice review, but for goodness sake, clear your chips when drilling.
My bits don’t pop out like that. Never have
Someone needs to develop their wrist strength.
Rob Gibson good one ☝️ this guy it’s a pussy
You have problems with your muscles , cuz you can’t hold screwdriver in your hand . That’s crazy
