On rare occasion you here of a tornado warning somewhere in the NW Arkansas area. I can tell you that having sold real estate in NWA for many years and seeing hundreds of houses I have seen less than 5 houses with tornado shelters. So based on that I think most people in NWA dont give tornados a second thought.

We are visiting next week...we are excited! Having lived in North Texas most of my life...I am ready for a little slower lifestyle!

Are tornadoes a huge concern? My wife and I are relocating to Arkansas December 1st and although it's not a concern for me she seems to be concerned.
