About Archie Bunker's Place: Archie and his partner, Murray buy the neighborhood bar and rechristen it “Archie's Place.” The Bunkers adopt their niece, Stephanie, but during the show's second season, Edith dies, leaving Archie to raise Stephanie, and, soon, another niece, with the help of a black housekeeper. Most of the action is set at the restaurant, with a cast of new characters including Anne Meara as the cook and Jason Wingreen as the bartender.

It was such a funny episode when Sammy Davis Jr. kissed Archie on the cheek while taking a picture with him in the 1972 episode. 😃
Yes it was
Archie returns that landmark kiss Sammy gave him years earlier.
Sammy's first appearance with Archie is such an amazing classic! I'd forgotten about this one!😍👍👍
This isn't Sammy Davis Jr's first appearance with Archie Bunker. Sammy's first appearance with Archie Bunker was in the 1972 All In The Family "Sammy's Visit".
I can't believe I missed this episode. Fantastic show!
Sammy Davis Jr. and Carroll O'Connor were longtime friends in real-life.
That’s awesome.
I knew that... they were great together, their chemistry is off the charts!
I love Sammy Davis Jr he was an amazing entertainer.
Norman Lear actually had nothing to do with spinoff. but i still love this episode.
That must have been a fun show to to do!
Everyone loved Sam Davis jr
Not everyone
@@lawranew5125 your right the bigots didn't
I hardly ever watched Archie Bunker's Place so I had no idea Sammy made another appearance.
Same here.
4:22 the cooker scared the h@ll out of SDJ🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He was also on All in the family first
I can't even vouch for some of the white people.... lmao classic Archie.
I always knew the famous kiss scene but I never knew he came back on his continuational show
Archie Bunker's Place was kind of flat compared to All In The Family. Part of the reason why was because Edith was killed off
She went on to other roles & she was tired of the part
Different writers. Same thing happened with The Jeffersons.
That’s what I thought too-different writers
Thanks for confirming
@@TruSoulDj Oh yeah, The Jeffersons became horrible toward the end.
I think Archie Bunkers place was great
It was awful.
Kelley's bar
A "well done Robert Redford"?
Did they ever find out what happened to the sports section? 🤔
LMFAO! Good one!
😂😂😂😂
We were big regular All In The Family and Archie Bunker's Place watchers but I had totally forgotten Sammy made a return visit. What a difference a few years make---Sammy's first appearance was much more outrageous while this appearance seems so toned down and much more politically correct..
Good old school humor. The woke people these days wouldn’t understand the show.
How did Sammy know Archie had a niece ??
No mention of Edith's death which I think should have been mentioned.
Umm, Edith was still alive. It was mentioned to Sammy that Stephanie was Archie's niece at the beginning of the episode.

USA border new Gaza
The show changed for the worse over the years and nothing in this scene was really funny.
Yah folks... yet here's another KAREN commenting on show she does not like 45 years after the fact...
