I start with the 2018 AFD SDE 5.1 Blu-ray. These are the typical steps: - DVD Audio Extractor to rip the 6 signals (FL/ FR/ C/ LFE/ SsL/ SsR) for each song - _demucs_6s to split the 6 signals into 36 tracks (RipX works just as well) -- A DAW for grouping the separated files and for mixing/ bouncing *If there are GTR overdubs (which tends to be the case), I'll use Audacity to make a stereo track from the mono L/R GTR signals and use the built-in Center removal tool to get the rhythm tracks. I use the Center isolation preset to extract the leads/ overdubs.
