this is js common with all hotels in scarbrough (i would know... i live there)
Blimey,I stayed there in 1979, when on a Rugby Tour. It didn’t seem this bad then, but I did hear that it went out of business after we left, due to repaying guest after complaints. Ooops!
Scarborian here, there are (unfortunately) many worse hotels than the royal! Such beautiful victorian buildings, that are left to ruin, once big chain hotels take over them, such a shame 😢
My son and new daughter had their wedding reception here, all went well until the waitress spilt boiling coffee down the bride's back then denied doing it. They also forgot to get the wedding cake out. However I've stayed there overnight since and it was really nice with a lovely breakfast.
i live in scarborough, the grand hotel was way worse a few years back infested with rats i heard they cleaned it up abit since
The grand is doing great now
My mother used to deliver and pick up the laundry from the royal hotel in the 1980s and it wasn’t bad then.
I've stayed in several Britannia hotels as part of package coach tours. They are often laughably bad but are incredibly cheap
Paint? have you not seen limescale before?
As long as there are no bugs I am ok 😂
I stayed here in 2017
At least they are consistent
I've just come from Turkey... Cheapest hotel was £8 a night and it was better than this
One time, me and my mates on a Friday at work, impulsively decided to go to Blackpool for the long weekend. We booked the cheapest crappiest hotel on our dinner break, grabbed a few things from our houses after work and then made the 2 hour drive up to Blackpool. The hotel was WAY worse than this one, but fuck me, i can only really remember booking in and booking out of it 2 days later. So it didn't really matter. Great weekend though.
😂
Norbreck Castle is 1 of theirs and briania which migrant in
It won’t be paint. We have bad limescale up here
half the price per night for a 4* hotel in Philippines.
They are absolutely filffy 😂😂
It the crown that is a cross the road that is the worst.
Their consistency is outstanding 😂11 yrs running 🤡
From scarborough its a shit hole but an amazing building it could be so nice in there
iv worked there DONT WORK THERE
I had my prom here lol
Grand hotel just behind you is worse 😂😂
It is a shame britannia owns what where once the 2 grandest hotels in scarborough and run them down.
Exactly same in Liverpool they own the adelphi
Little boat migrants are probably staying there too
Anything Brittania, ahem, 'operates...' is a fuckin bug run...
Disgusting hotel chain.
I'd love to own that
House the migrants there
This crappy hotel chains makes tens of millions each year from housing illegal immigrants, at taxpayers' expense.
Full of em , straight off dingy
