    *Who wants to see the D5 ($6,500) and GH5 ($1,997) go head-to-head in a photo and video shoot-off?*

    I had a D500 and I fell in love very quickly. I believe the D5 is even better 😊

      Totally agree! You can find great deals on a Used Nikon D5 though!

    Today, for low light, street and family photography (video is not important), which would you choose D3s, D4s, D5 or some lighter bodes like D750 or D810?

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  7 місяців тому +2

      I personally love my D810. Here's a recent video review on it: ua-cam.com/video/KzNyGKctCtQ/v-deo.htmlsi=edy4zjVnPTJpi5je
      Not to say there's anything wrong with the others... I've shot with every body you've mentioned, D3, D4, D5 and D750. To get the most bang for your buck the D810 is probably what I'd recommend in your situation.

    Is this camera comparable to the Canon 1DX?

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  6 років тому +3

      Absolutely, it’s definitely a competitor in that league. I haven’t shot on the 1DX personally but I’d love to try one!

    Awesome video! Should I now invest on a D5? I own 2 d850s with a whole bunch of FX lenses. I would use it for low light event photography! :)

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  4 роки тому +2

      The D5 is great, if you have the budget for it! I think your 850s could probably handle the low light too. If you decide to get one, you should use my affiliate link in the description :) helps keep the channel running.

    Do you recommend this as a vlogging camera?

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  6 років тому +2

      Hey Ryan- I won’t recommend it for vlogging, it’s very heavy and I would certainly push a mirrorless over a DSLR, especially the D5. Even though it’s capable, trying to shoot anything “selfie-style” would break your wrist.

    • @Ryansacrobat
      @Ryansacrobat 6 років тому +1

      Run N Gun Good to know! I have strong wrists but I don’t want to waste my hand strength vlogging when I need it for trapeze! Lol

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  6 років тому +1

      I lift weights regularly and still am not a fan of one-handing the D5 with any lens. I’d definitely go mirrorless!

      Run N Gun tha wide angle

      @RunNGunPhoto  6 років тому +1

      The wide angle is a Nikon 14mm F2.8. I also have a link in the description where you can find one.

    Is it capable with landscape shooting?

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  6 років тому +1

      Rafael, the D5 is more than capable of capturing amazing landscapes.

    • @rafaelchow5145
      @rafaelchow5145 6 років тому +1

      Run N Gun you know, i have d850 and several lenses, but i found it is big trouble to change lense in desert or some harsh places, that is why i am looking for second camera.

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  6 років тому +1

      The D850 is also a fantastic camera, have you thought about getting a second one?

    • @rafaelchow5145
      @rafaelchow5145 6 років тому +1

      Run N Gun you mean getting two d850? No. The reason i am interested in d5 is the complementary advantages of these two cameras. The only thing i am worried about is the ability of d5 on shooting landscape

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  6 років тому +1

      That makes sense, they both make up when the other falls short-
      What has you doubting the D5's landscape ability? Is there something you're looking for specifically?
